That is kind of weird, I thought that you only play as Shujinko as a young man in Konquest mode.

It shows Shujinko as a young man fighting against Kabal... Mabey Shujinko's alternate outfit is his younger self?

those pics are from chess kombat. the 1 round fight to take the square.

It's most likely chess because that's were the classic stages are.

how is that the guy from konquest if he is young. Isnt he only young during conquest and old during the game

Yes and as the dead pool is an old arena it is used or maybe Kabal challenged him to chess kombat or even the MK team are making this game and can put who ever they want where ever they want just to make us wonder
