1. It's assumed he got his scar from Scorpion before he was granted mercy but it was never described in any of the games.
2. In Kintaro's MK3 bio, it said Raiden destroyed him at the end of MKII.

5. I'd say it's almost definately the Dragon King, but nothing has been confirmed.

No in game source has ever mentioned Kintaro's fate.

Supposedly a guide for the PC mentions that Raiden killed him but that information being canon is dubious at best.

1. In MK3 sub-zero bio read that Sub-zero reciveved the scar from the Lin Kuei clan. Since he didn't want to get turned into a robot like sektor,smoke ect the mark of death scared apon his face by Sub-zero "bosses". Then he left.
2. disappeared only to return some other time. Of course we will find out in Konquest in MK: Deception.
3.No, he no longer works for Midway in any way.

4.No. Ed Boon only descriped the sub-boss as being "hot".
