Boon also tells Tobias what characters the games must have.

boon runs the shit....simple answer...he walks around all day...see's what's going on...what direction things are taking...gives input...gives orders....plans a few things out(as seen with the stick figures in the extra content in d.a.) and ensures that everything is on scheadule....all these signs point to the fact that he o.k.'d noob saibot and smoke's fusion....in which case....i don't like you anymore ed boon....hehehe

Boon is the Lead Programmer. Now that MK is not a quick project a lot of other people must work in the all departments.

Boon is the Lead Project. Main Ideas, Supervise others work, he decides what is and what isn't, He is the leader of the team.

I think Boon is well payed in his job. His role is too important to Midway and yeah i think he recieve some loyalties of his work. There is a character with the name of Boon (Noob) and if the Name was a Midway property so Saibot will also be included in the Game (Tobias as his rights).

Resuming: He's the team leader with a great salary and i think if not a millionaire a wealthy man...

People, my question got answered around 30 posts ago, whyin god's name is this thread still going? Haha...

From what I understand (Boon can correct me if I am wrong) Boon is programmed the fighting engine behild MKDA, and MKD. HE is the brains behind the mechanics and all that is the fighting engine. I heard that he also comes up with a lot of the fatalities. For example the Neck Stretch fatality was his idea in MKDA. So when I play MKDA I think that boon was the mastermind behind how the game handles. The juggles, combos, special moves, jumping, sidestepping, etc...

In my thread i didn't say that he got rights last night (where did you get that idea?).

I said Tobias may have some rights to his name. Why? Because if Midway had all the rights for Noob Saibot they probably introduce the character with whole name. And the effort to make Noob Smoke, for me, is a workaround of introducing Noob Saibot in the game. The name Saibot doesn't exists any more and i don't think that's because Tobias isn't at midway anymore.

Only with Tobias permission, or by Midway contract, the name could be there in the character or it will be like "perjury". Although I don't know laws in USA.

P.S. I don't get where in hell you get the idea of "last night". And he have no rights on the character, he has his rights on the name....(Well, i yhink so)
