Well if its the trailers from the dvd none of my stuff would run it.Real Player,quick time.So I got a mpeg 2 decoder then my windows media player played it just fine.I hope this helps.Long Live Johnny Cage.

i have windows xp, and i have played it through my Windows Media Player However, i have had problems playing things in the past until i went to www.download.com and downloaded Real Player...

It's a program similar to Winzip....I downloaded it back when the first German trailer came out. Can't remember the site I got it from. Try doing a googl search for downloading WinRAR It might come up with a site you can get it from.

Forget WMP, switch to VCL:

It's a great media player with all options you could ever ask for, and a whole lot more. More importantly, compatibility issues are pretty much non-existant. It plays mpeg, avi, mov, asf, and probably a whole lot more, without any hassle. I've been using it for a while, and I've never had to bother with getting new codecs and stuff. Give it a try at least. :)

Thats exactly what i told another person in another thread. VCL is the best.

Ok i tried both VLC and DivX and it STILL wont play. what the hell is wrong with this thing! *grumble*

I wasn't able to see the trailer but I was able to see Konqrr's video though. It only lasts 5 seconds, and it shows Sub-Zero, Baraka and Mileena going through that 1000-beetles death trap, Mileena going through a boulder, and Sub-Zero picking up a thoraxe. I don't know how to make pics of the video, unfortunately.

I will re-encode it so that it doesn't require divx or anything and in AVI so it will play in anything but I have no-where to put the video, no webspace. If anyone wants a re-encoded version of the vid that will play in anything, send me a PM of your ICQ, AIM, MSN or YAHOO ID/info and i'll talk to you and send the file through there.

It would be much easier if someone could just re-encode it so it plays normal with no other weird program.

I re-encoded the full video in MPEG format. So everyone can view it. Still no sound, I don't know how to rip sound and video from VLC (the only program that plays the sound). I can only capture the video from Windows Media Player. So you have to suffer in the silence...no krypt/mkda sound for you LOL
