MK Trilogy came out after UMK3... should there be a game combining MK4, DA and deception once it comes out. Combining the fatalities in MK4/G and giving this game's levels and character designs a touch-up. In MKDA there were stages that could of been stage fatalities, add this element into MKT2. Give the game two seperate modes, classic kombat or new style. The classic kombat of MK4/gold or the three fighting styles of the upgraded MKdeception when compared to MKDA... All the characters including Goro, Meat, Mokap, etc with fatalities and endings. Maybe the story will take place during all three games rather than just Deception. So endings can adjust to that. Like if you beat the game w/Shinnok it tells what happens to him in MK4. This might not be possible on the current systems, but maybe something to think about for the next wave of game systems... thoughts?

I don't know, but it would be great if they made a trilogy with every character.

I think this possible and pretty likely after Deception seeing how every character is getting a model in MKD's konquest mode.

Another MKTrilogy would be COOL! Although it would probably need a different name--Mortal Kombat Chronicles or something along those lines (to borrow a name from the Tomb Raider series). Sure, it would be a lot of work to combine MK4-MK:Deception, or even MK1-MK:Deception for that matter, but it could be a way to sor of "hold over" the MK fans after Deception while they work longer and harder on the 7th Mortal Kombat.

And yeah, having every fighter in the game back with a few new moves, stage fatalities for the stages that didn't have them, and other game elements would be nice. Although if they made a second trilogy based on MK4-MK:Deception, I'm sure they'd just use the graphics and engine of MK:DA and Deception, then just have characters from MK4 come back. Because when they made MKTrilogy (on the Playstation version, anyway), there were still stages from MK1 missing (Throne Room, Warrior Shrine, Castle Gates) and other classic warriors missing (MK1 Johnny Cage, MK1 Sonya, etc.) that would've made it a TRUE trilogy. Like Shinnok, Jarek, Tanya, Kai, and Fujin would all come back in their models from Deception, but the stages from MK4 like The Prison and Reptile's Lair wouldn't come back.

Id really like to see this idea implemented by the MK team. It would be a freakin chore, but it could be done. My guess is that it would prably be released on the next set of consoles......

A game featuring 59 characters... Well, It should be possible to do, THQ/Yukes does it with the WWE Smackdown! series every year. The last one, "Here Comes the Pain" had 64 wrestlers.

But yeah, If they did do it, It'd have to be called something other then Trilogy. A Trilogy is three, And there has been 12 Mortal Kombat games

great idea. i think it is highly possible too.

after they did mk3, there was Umk3, mkT, mkm, mkSF, and then finally mk4

i think they should take a break after mk6 and do these sidework mks again. start on mkT2 first, just use the engine from mk6 but upgrade the mk4/5 characters into it and the boss could probly be like a super shao kahn or somthing. or maybe even a new boss! i'd really like to c shinnok with a new look and new set of moves.

also right after making mkT2, they can start on a quick mk vs. killer instinct. i really really like that idea. that could make so much freakin money doin these 2 games right after mk6 is out. and the next set of consoles wont be out til late 05 and 06. so they can make a kaboom mk7 on the next gen systems.

I would rather they dusted off the MK: Mythologies idea and give us some games about the history of some of the more favorite characters. Like how did Mileena become Kitana's clone. How did Rayden become the sworn protector of earthrealm? How did Kabal get betrayed by the Black Dragon? etc, etc. This time they can do a better job than they did in Special Forces.(Not that would be too difficult.)

A MKTrilogy2 with MK4, MKDA & MKdecep would be the jump off. That would definitely keep me happy until MK7.

Oh man, I totally forgot about MK:Mythologies and MK;Special Forces. I only read about them--never played them. Are there any characters from either of those two games that could be in a MK:Trilogy2 (or MK:Chronicles, as I'd like to call it)? I've heard of one posted here a lot, Sareena--who is she? And who are the others?

MK Trilogy 2 or MK Hexology would be great! MK vs KI would be sweet too!

I like Lady Raidens idea of doing a new MK Mythologies and exploring the other characters pasts. I'd really like to see that happen.
I wanna see another trilogy with every charater in it and MK deception's system. i might be crazy, but i think mk trilogy is the greatest mk game of all time.

Mortal Kombat Hexology, Mortal Kombat Legacy, Ultimate Mortal Kombat, Definative Mortal Kombat, or something to that affect... if they did one from MK1-MKD/6 then they should take some of the most popular stages in MK1-UMK3 and make them into full 3-D possibly even interactive stages... like the Pit would be difficult, but the bottom of the Pit could work, slaming opponents into spikes or even breaking the spikes off and finishing your opponent on the spiked poles or something to that affect. Also give every fighter all of the their costumes would be an interesting touch, but make the retro uniforms/clothes unlockable eventually, also put 'super' reptile in there in the bottom of the pit could be cool also... or on another not possibly make 3-d make overs of the first three MK games.. or even the first two... thoughts...

Id love to see a remake of MK1. They could completely overhual the stages and chracters. They could also add other combatants that were in the tournament but didnt succede. This would also mean that we could see a powerful Reptile in a 3D human form. Sweetness........

Also make Shang Tsung and Goro playable... shape-shifting problems? Ok in DBZ budikai there were transformations out the butt... Shinnok imatated characters in MK4/Gold... all in 3-D... why not combine these technics in someway.. or even a limited transformation like in MKT on PS or Saturn...
But 'Hybrid' Reptile, Shang Tsung, and Goro all could endings in MKI. I think they could stand to add some levels, fatalities, and even hide Ermac in the game to piss all who say he definately 100% can't possibly be in MKI in a million years... and give him some unique fatalities and storyline... Full Motion endings would be nice too.. seeing Scorpion ending Sub-Zero (5th)'s life or Raiden exploding the Earth
MKII could have more possibilities... put Smoke, Noob Saibot, and Jade into, maybe with a classic, but unique look and maybe even moves as well, but be secret, and Make Shao Kahn and Kintaro playable and give them all full motion endings... and seeing the stages would be 3-D... freeing Sonya and Kano from their bonds during the match could be interesting and make it possible to unlock them as their MKI remake selves... later

I think its very likely, they are already making models for every single mk character already for konquestm mode. So after MKD is released they will go back and just try to make the models look even better to use as playable characters and give them fatalities and moves and all that good stuff. So it would probably be released about 1 year later i would say. who knows.

Also there should be characters that never made
it in previous Mks. Example:Dairou. Returning stages and stages that never made it into previous MKs such as the Spider Arena.

there would be a slight problem with a mk trilogy II

1. would have to go back to the graphics of mk4
2. it would be nearly impossible to have the graphics of mkd,and mk4

although if mk4 was excluded than perhaps it could happen

what u talkin bout smokey?? if there was an mkT2 it would use the engine of mk6, only it would also include mk5 and yes even mk4. the team would just have to give the mk4 characters (kai, tanya, fujin, reiko, jarek, and shinnok) better graphix and elaborate fighting styles. this would also allow us to play as the humanoid Reptile with the new fighting engine they most of us desire (since he was in mk4 and his alt costume was the ninja attire) also, liu kang would be selectable!

Ok remember how they remade Resident Evil, MGS, etc... the same would apply to the MK4/Gold characters, giving them a visual touch up, facial thisthingisdisableds, etc. Also MK4 Reptile should have green blood most likely. But I think that each character should have one selection square, all of their costumes, and fatalities. Exception would be reptile, due to how drastically he changes, and he should have three, considering word has it he will be more dragon-like in MKD. But Scorpion could have one selection square and then you select which costume you want, and all costumes have all fatalities. Toasty 3-D, Scorpion transformation, Harpoon decap, and MKD fatalities... maybe add one more for MKT2...

that would be nice, one problem, its took them 4 years to completly make DA with like 20 char's it would take them like 8 years to make this with the resources they have now, 60 char's like 40 stages or more, all there weapons, each one getting atleast 2 fatalities, each one having 2 fighting styles and there weapons fighting style, then including all the hiddens, the menus and all the code that goes into somthing like that, but i would like to see another thing like mythologies but with someone that is hardly known, IE noob saibot, rain, kabal, and tons of others

Yeah but it took them 2 years to make MKD with 24 or more characters, stage fatals, etc... most of the stages are already designed, the MK4 ones would have to be touched up and maybe made more interactive, most of the characters would be designed also, MK4 characters again need to be revamped... maybe all the characters if they put it on the next wave of systems, but I think it would take as long as Deception, maybe, but would extremely cool... later
