Sounds like maybe I'll copy you, and leave my fave for last. Most likely in this order for me (If I unlock all the chars before I do Arcade, and assuming Onaga isn't unlockable):
1) Bo Rai' Cho (so I don't have to deal with him again)
2) Kobra (not really feeling him)
3) Li Mei (don't really like her, though her new costume is pretty cool)
4) Kenshi (don't really like him either)
5) Sindel (Do I have to say it again?)
6) Liu Kang (...)
7) Ashrah (Doesn't look too interesting)
8) Kira (not really looking interesting, either)

No champ, Kira will be great. I know you are saying this because you love Sonya so much and Kira is her replacement in MKD.
Kira does have some unique moves despite what people are saying.
In the Kira IGN bio go to :
1:09 - Kira fires 3 x new pink projectiles whilst on 1 knee. This will be great defense against high attackers
1:22 - clearly a brand new throw, never seen from either Kano or Sonya
1:32 - In "Dragon Teeth" (weapon) stance, Kira seems to have a 1-2 kick not exactly the same as any Sonya or Kano had.

I'm goin with either Baraka or Kabal.

I dont see Kira as a "replacement", I see her more like an unoriginal ripoff. Another Jarek but mixed with Sonya.
Those fireballs are nothing new we havent seen. The throw is amazing though.

The pink fireball is very much like Tanya's Mk4 pink fireball, nothing special. And we have seen Liu Kang getting on his knees to fire.
I dont mean to bash Kira, I still think she has a very cool new look and she has potential, she was one of my faves before, but now, she is not original in terms of special moves or in depth as a character.

No need to be sorry, you are entitled to your opinion.
I suspect she will be a favourite when people use her online.
I think she will make for a formidable character.
I also think that once she and Sonya are in the same game either hers or Sonyas moves will alter dramatically and all will be happy with them both.
