five seals 'boxing academy' deal with midway games
Five has secured a major sponsorship deal with Midway Games' heavyweight fighting game, Mortal Kombat : Deception to support the channel s new factual entertainment series, Boxing Academy, it was announced today (WEDS).
The deal, which runs from 18th October to 15th November 2004, covers a package of five hour-long programmes, including the live final and the opening credits, closing credits and break bumpers.
Mortal Kombat will also receive accreditation on the extensive promotional on-air trailers as well as off-air marketing across press and outdoor.
The deal was brokered between Five's Business Manager, Chrissy Dawson, and Steve Smythson at Miller Advertising.
