The Cheng style of Baguazhang
The fingers of both palms point upwards. The thumbs are open wide. The tigers mouths are round and push out. The remaining fingers are slightly curved. The fingers can be slightly spread or you can have the fourth and fifth fingers sticking together. The palms face the front and are naturally concave. The form of the back of the palm is like a tile. The heel of the palm pushes out. The palm strength is vigorous. It is called Dragon Claw Palm. The basic palm formation above is from Mr. Dong Haichuan.
Cheng Style Baguazhang pays attention to the interplay of hard and soft, with a lot of spiraling energy. It often has touching, sticking, continuously following, neutralizing, issuing and releasing, all coordinated together.
Cheng Style Baguazhang mainly uses hidden legs. It is very good at using the tips of the foot. When doing piercing palm, the heart of the palm faces upwards. The five fingers point to the front. The pierce goes out under the front arm. The palm method has cloud, thrust between, pierce, and strike... only it mainly uses push, uphold, pull aside, lead, parry, hook, split and advance.
It consists of eight big palms these are:
Single Change Palm
Double Change Palm
Flowing /Follow/ Posture Palm
Back /Behind/ Body Palm
Turning Body Palm
Grinding Body Palm
Overturning Body Palm
Returning Body Palm
This Style is much like Kitanas Ba Gua in MK:DA.
Tantui (Leg Flicking Chuan)
Tantui or leg flicking Chuan is also called pond legs. It has 10 routines and was therefore called 10-routine pond legs. When Shaolin monks added two more routines, it became the 12-routine pond legs. As many Moslems in China practise the Chuan, it is also called religious leg flicking
Chuan. Tantui concentrates on feet plays with fist plays as support. Its movements are not complicated but complete and executed flawlessly. A symmetry is maintained by placing the feet one by one taking wide steps while keeping the body in a crouched position.
Three Section-Staff
The three section staff is a wooden stave consisting of three parts, with the end section of each outer leg connected to the middle segment by metal rings. Each wooden section is made of a very hard wood with the tips being covered by brass or iron. It can be used against swords, spears, knives or multiple opponents. It is used as a flail with one or both ends or as a long three-section whip. The staff held in both hands the staff becomes two short clubs and a shield, reversed it can catch, lock or break arms, legs and necks with relative ease. Students must supply their own weapons for training.
Special Moves
Projectile Eater
Ipol thrusts both hands out in front of him. They flash a red. The projectile absorbs into his health is replenished a little.
Ground Teleport
Ipol thrusts both his hands to the ground. His body zips into the ground. Ipols body takes the form of red energy. The red energy traverses through the ground. It moves behind the opponent the opponent turns to face it. Ipol then appears behind the opponent. He is given a free unblockable attack on the opponent.
Leg Shooter
Ipol throws his hands over his eyes and then quickly removes them. Two red bursts of light emerge from his eyes. They zip towards the legs of the opponent. They hit and knock the opponents legs out from underneath them.
Possessive Control
Ipol is known for his ability to possess and gain control of another beings body. Red energy moves from Ipols hands to his chest. A pulse of energy flies from Ipols chest it connects with the opponents chest. Ipol disappears then once the pulse of energy has completely moved from Ipol into the opponent. Ipol then gains control over the opponent and takes a little life from the opponent. This control doesnt last long but can be useful in luring opponents into death traps. After the little amount of time Ipol will emerge from the opponents eyes.
Background Info/History
Twelve years ago, Ipols village was burnt to the ground by the infamous tarkatan race when he was a child. The leader of the group that burnt it down was Baraka. It was burnt down to distract the warriors that were pursing him and his men. Baraka brutally murdered Ipols friends and family. Ipol was the only being who fought back. Ipol used his ground teleport then possessed Barakas body. Baraka felt Ipols energy surge through his body until he could no longer control his actions. Fortunately for Baraka , Ipol didnt have total control over his possessing power and he was shot out of Barakas body. Baraka eventually subdued the aggressive youngster. Baraka saw a great and powerful warrior inside Ipol. He decided to adopt him as his son and protege. Baraka raised him under his influence from that day until now. Twelve years later. Baraka has hid the secret of Ipols past from him his whole life.
Bio Part 1
Loyal to the Dragon King, Baraka instructed Ipol to possess the body of Sindel. With Kitana captured Sindel would try to take lead over the Edenian army. Ipol had been to kill or possess her body and lead the army astry. This would enable the Dragon King to spring his attack without the threat of the Edenian army attacking from behind.
Bio Part 2
Before Ipol could leave to attack Sindel, Baraka confronted Ipol and said that he had something to tell him. Baraka told Ipol that it was in fact he that murdered his friends and family. Ipol attacked in vicious rage Baraka was struggling to fight him. Mileena heard the fight and came to investigate. Ipol fled when he was confronted by Baraka and Mileena together. Ipol must now decide whether to fight his adoptive father and avenge his families deaths or continue to fight along side Baraka and the Dragon King.
Ending
Ipol has so angry, frustrated and confused. He eventually decided that he would forgive Baraka. Ipol didnt want to fight against Barakas allies Mileena and the Dragon King. He decided to abandon Barakas commands to attack Sindel. Instead he offered to serve on the front lines of the Dragon Kings army. He figured that he would let out all his anger and frustration on the battlefield.
Wow that is the longest post I've ever done.

Yeah, I just imagined the anouncers voice saying it and it sounded better the way stated above.

Great concept. I find the story interesting as well as Ipols power. It concerns me as to why Baraka even said anything about his past at that time. But I like it! Good job with the pics and diagrams. The explanation on his styles was very good too!
Nice work!
Nice work!

I had a few names for him but this one I thought was okay. Some of the others were Iaido, Sclera and Fuifi.. Which one do you think I should have used ?

No problem man.
Well maybe Baraka wanted to use the information at this point as a test of loyalty. Or maybe he had no more reason to have Ipol around, though having trained him and looked after him as he did I think that might not be the case. I'm sure you'll find something that works for you.
The character tournament is Brodeurs, not TomTaz's lol. The second one is still going on.

I had two ideas on that
1.The loyalty one like you stated.
2.One where Baraka and Ipol were training. Ipol used his possessive control move and Baraka became confused afterwards. He accidently blurted it out.
I prefer the loyalty one though.

You mean Sclera right.
Here is some background info on where I got it.
The sclera is commonly known as "the white of the eye." It is the tough, opaque tissue that serves as the eye's protective outer coat. Six tiny muscles connect to it around the eye and control the eye's movements.

The loyalty idea does sound better. Keep thinking up other ideas. I'm sure you'll find one that works even better! In order to do so you might change a little of the story.
Good work once again, man!
