You dont understand what im saying. Realize that making everyone look japanese and overexaggerated is stupid as hell. All the 3 main ninjas (rep, scorp and sub) need is the same canvas and shit but the different colors, different mask design. They dont have to be WAY overdressed, they could look more simple. And also reptile looks fucking gay now... SM reptile isnt bad but jesus christ..

I kinda agree, reptile in MKA is horrible, he needs a revamp.

I do agree that the older style designs did look better than all this over decorated shit from MKA.

I would also like to add that Jax is a piece of shit.

The simple designs were awesome for the MK of the 90s.

This is 2008! You really want a next-gen MK Title that is supposed to compete with Soul Calibur IV, Tekken 6, Virtua Fighter 5 to look simple?! Even if they had the best gameplay mechanic, I still would like the characters to look detailed and unique.

I agree the characters should be detailed, but just not look like they are partaking in a mardi gras parade.

Yeah but I do think that maybe they have exaggerated on
some charcters, like I think Sub-Zero MKD primary is cool but
he has way to much armour I think for fighting. I would just say don't
overload some characters with to much, but its ok for some,
say if there was a samurai character then it doesnt matter.

Reptile? well I personnally really like the MKSM/MKA look,
because he is a reptile(cant remeber his race name) and not a ninja,
but some fans like ninja reptile, i like both but kinda prefer reptile form, but at least with MKSM he sorta hasa reptile look but ninja look,
if he is in MK8 which I hope he is, then
he should look something along the lines of MKSM

Thank you, I agree with you there, he should have the same physical appearance from SM but perhaps have a wider selection of outfits to choose from like maybe a pants/no shirt combo, or a loose, baggy black ninja-esque outfit that resembles actual ninja gear.

Personally, I love his SM look, though. The black taping/bandaging around his face-- brilliant.

I actually agree with you guys the SM look is pretty fucking awesome. But i dont think he should have a tail because if im correct, he was devolving from a humanoid to lizard from mk4 - mk:da and is now evolving back to humanoid form

I'd love to say it would be inexcusable to produce designs as basic as MK, but the MK fans aren't the only ones without a shred of creative moxie. Video games in general seem to be restricted to a gradual lurch forward, and more often than not, the fans are really supporting that stagnancy.

I think that the minor details make the characters cool. Like I don't think that reptile is an actual ninja, but a reptile. Which is why his Armageddon costume sort of fuses ninja and reptile together. And can you honestly tell me you like Scorpion and Sub-Zero's MK:A costume better than their MK:D costume? I don't think so.

I almost get the sense Scorpion's MKDA look wasn't very popular.

In generally I didn't like Deception's stiff, narrow character models, but I thought that only contributed to further emphasise the way Scorpion's outfit had been scaled back toward being homogenized.
I liked that Deadly Alliance made him distinct, particularly with Sub-Zero getting away from the ninja costumes again. I felt like MKDA was also a much better compromise between what makes sense, and what looks cool and works for Scorpion.

Any reason for the MKD preference?

Hey, maybe Reptile can have the tape on his eyes, one eye with human skin and the other with a reptilian eye. His ninja costume should be ripped and shredded and one arm with scales falling off and another arm human-looking. Just an idea.
