Tanya's new look is more evil, which I think it fits her perfectly! I won't be surprise if she is one of the biggest deceptors in the game.

There will be a new queen of Edenia. And it won't be Mileena.

I think she looks great! I love the eyes, outfit and the hair! She looks amazing and has completely changed facial wise from MK4.

She does have that Cleopatra sexy look. I love her. Loved her in MK$, but not my fave, but still loved her. Now she's even better. Looks mean ass hell. I think they wanted to make her look a but Egyptian--- hey mayb Keilienaten will be in the next MK installment. Wouldn't I wish. Tanya has always had great potential, sadly, this has been overlooked by many fans, including myself. Most, mainly because of the supposed “kitana-clone” deal, which has never been true.

She just took her spot in Mk4, and came looking like a totally original character! She had her own set of moves, fatalities (expect the kiss) and even story! Tanya was amazing in that game.

Looking at her know makes me feel very happy and pleased. Same with the fact we have LI MEI and MILEENA in the same game, this will hopefully prove people that she was never a Mileena clone, the only thing she had was the Sais, no more.

Tanya IMO, will be one of the strongest characters, and I know that her story is gonna cause a big impact, it just has to. She is one crazy bitch with many evil plans.

why the hell does Tanya have transparent eyes like Sindel and Scorpian? I know they're trying to show that she's evil, but couldn't they try to be a little original?

I agree with Queve. The only thing really holding Tanya back was the "Kitana replacement" label she got stuck with.
I think she looks great in Deception and I'm looking foward to her story. I think she may be the most decieving character. I hope she gets into a feud with Mileena. Bad guy vs. bad guy would be awesome.

Embarrassing confession. I never played MK4 or Gold... BUT I must admit, Tanya's new look is pretty cool. I think the hair is cool, it's modern in a retro way cos of the fringe, and MK needs a modern looking girl in my opinion.

However, looks wise, she was just Kitana with darker skin and a yellow costume. And her weapon, the boomerang... That wasn't too original considering Jade had some sort of boomerang projectile in UMK3/Trilogy. Anyways, enough of my rant.

I completely agree with you, Queve dude(including the Li Mei part )! And it seems like Tanya is going to have a whole bunch of fans after Deception is released ...

I know I keep declaring this, but Tanya has always been my favourite character along with Mileena. She looks absolutely wicked, I really cannot wait to play as her in MK:D!
Now all we need to know is her moves, fatalities and alternate outfit!
