before i pose the question i just want to say throw aside your feelings of wanting to be able to play with them....with that said...does anyone feel that maybe ermac and kenshi should not have been in the same game?? they are the same in ways with some differences such as total different stories. when i play and i want to play with ermac i feel that i can much as well play with kenshi. the same happened with kabal and movado only they were not in the same game. the character concepts are good i feel they are creating cannibalism within the game......perhaps more distinction between them.....i see they added some moves like ermacs levitation and kenshi's pyshic grab but with all that can you say they only difference is ermac uses the power of souls and kenshi uses pyshic power....thoughts on this.confused

I guess it's all how you look at it. Smoke is a fan favorite but lets face it, if you take away the little puffs of smoke he's pretty much Scorpion with a grey costume. Same goes for characters like Goro and Kintaro in Trilogy.

Personally I don't mind so much. The story is enough for me to define them separately. Then again, the story has always been more important to me than the game play. I see them each as chapters in a book. Then again, I've never had a problem with the game play in any of the MK installments. They've all been pretty fun to me.

My thoughts on Kenshi... Well for a start, hes a Daredevil wannabe. I mean please??? Blind man who can fight? Woman with sais (Elektra no?) in the same movie? Boon obviously watched Daredevil, saw the woman with sais, saw Daredevil and thought "Heeeeeeeeeeeey no thats a GREAT idea for a MK character why not stick him in and make him really cool". I mean he even wears basicaly the same color outfit as Daredevil!!! The only difference is, Daredevil cant lift things with his mind, thats Ermacs trademark...

Kenshi is crap IMHO, Ermac is much more original and theres no need for Kenshi anymore, why he is in the game still is a mystery to me..

Also whats with Shujinko and the moves he has? Is Shujinko even have freezing abilities or levitating powers? He even stole Scorpions trademark... thats really lame IMO.

Other than that, I love the game... really I do...
