I like this thread. I would choose Johnny Cage turning evil, getting tempted by power from someone such as Kahn or Tsung. Ive always liked Cage, but thought of him as a guy that would turn on his buddies easily if the price is right.

Mokap!!!
Cage kills Mokap because Mokap is annoying and then Shang Tsung captures Mokap's soul, and in return gives Cage new sunnies, and Shang Tsung re-creates Mokap in an evil body!

I think it's really hard to change some of the good guys' alignments because it would make the storyline seem ridiculous.
And I can't really see Shang becoming good, after being evil in four different games (1, 2, 3, DA).
Well, it might be possible if they did something with what happened in Conquest, but that probably won't happen.

However, I think there is one character that could be swayed, Scorpion. He has been swayed in the past, kind of, when Quan Chi offered him life in exchange for his services, despite that Scorpion killed him after.

Another character perhaps is Frost, should they bring her back. They already have potential for her as we know she attacked Sub Zero. Anything could happen from this point on.

Sektor-being banished from the Lin Kuei, the cyborg kidnaps some of the greatest warriors on Earth and turns them into souless assassins... his new goal is to become the top assassin clan on earth... believing his cyber-assassins are superior, he starts killing red dragon and lin kuei members, leaving only evidence of the other clans' guilt... he plans to let the clans destroy each other... then no one would be safe from his soulless killers
Scorpion-after being throw into the soulnado his hellspawn body was ripped apart.. his soul ascends to the heavens to the gods themselves... seeing that Quan Chi must be destroyed, they give him a new body, not one of a specter, but a body created by good and that focuses the power of light... Scorpion's enemies would pay, and this time he has the forces of good behind his vengful rampage
Sub-Zero and Frost- after grabbing the amulet from Frost and breaking her free of the ice before she deep froze, Sub-Zero banished her from the Lin Kuei, but Frost saw that Sub-Zero saved her life, she would gain his trust if it killed her...
Cyrax- After returning to Earth he notices a string of killings resembling the Lin Kuei and the Red Dragon, but upon seeing the acuracy of the wounds, he knew only a cyber assassin could have done these deeds, but if his calculations were correct, there were at least 8 of these assassins... he knew that he must find the fiend behind these attacks upon not only red dragon and lin kuei members, but upon three special forces members as well
Smoke-after having his soul freed after Shao Kahn's invasion the cyber assassin threw away his armor, but most of his implants could not be removed. He used clothing to conceil his cybernetics(cloak and hood most likely), and wandered the earth honing his fighting skills and punishing evil where ever he found it(cities, countryside, etc). He was eventually attacked by an odd cyber assassin, he dispatched the unexperienced fighter in a short, but intense battle... he knew that Sub-Zero had reformed the Lin Kuei for good, then where did this assassin come from.. he searched for his old friend to answer his questions...
Noob Saibot-With his master shinnok dead and his soul disentigrated by the elder gods he wandered Netherealm, his home for meaning, he found none until he met a blue clothed specter, he talked of portal that would allow them escape into the living world, Noob knew without Shinnok's amulet it would be worthless, but it was possible for the brothers of the shadow to open the portal if the situation demanded it... the blue clothed demon said that he found a tablet in a cave when he was sent to Netherealm ten years ago... it was in the frozen section of Netherealm that only he could enter without his new specter body freezing... the dead Sub-Zero said the tablet told the exact time the Dragon King would return to Outworld, and those who stood in a certain location would be at the King's right hand... they would have eternal life and serve the greatest living power in the cosmos, or fall to his path of destruction when he is even prophesized to conquour the realm of the dead in time... the brothers of the shadow opened the portal, they would be the new power in this new kingdom of evil...
Old-Sub-Zero- escaping with Noob Saibot he waited in the location prophisized, and when the King Appeared he would have the means to destroy the one who killed him.. he would kill Scorpion.. he would retake the Lin Kuei, he would help rule everything..

How about Shao Kahn not turning good per se but becoming neutral. OK, Shang and Quan attacked him but he might not be dead. If either of the sorcerers are still alive than he could decide to go after them and at this point cease his plot of taking over Earthrealm.

I've always wanted Scorpion and Sub-Zero to become friends, despite their past. Scorpion has been trying to get revenge against him (and Quan Chi, for that matter) since MK1, and it would be nice to see Scorpion reclaim his lost soul, regain corporeal form, and join the Lin Kuei.

I have a strong belief that in this game will will see a turn from kung lao.

Kung Lao eventually finds out that is buddy Liu Kang now posseses Kano's body, although Kang's abilities remain he is now haunted with Kano's way of thinking. Through trechrachy, and deception, Kano's conscience pursuades him to come and be one with him again so they can be together like old days, but little did Kung Lao realize he was turning on all of the saviors of earthrealm. None of them could also see it comming becasue Kung Lao always kept to himself, until he is needed for battle, with this turn he becomes vunerable of being attacked by his former friends, and even worse he is unaware that Kano's true intentions are for himt o help him get what he wants, money, power, and IMMORTALITY....


i think that is a pretty good story what do you think

I personally think Jax should slowly drift towards evil. A loss of, say, Sonya, could deeply embitter him and that, with the heart implant taken from Hsu Hao, slowly turns him to evil. In the end he could see his mistake and make one last heroic comeback (probably suicidal)...

Yea, whats the deal....... But anyway, id like to see Sub Zero take a turn to the dark side. Perhaps the Dragon Medallion will infuse him with too much power and drive him insane, which would cause him to betray his friends and allies.......

Subzero: Being exposed to the power of the amulet for an extended period of time, his sanity started to decay. After gaining the trust of his fellow adherants, he sends them on a missions to betray the Special Forces. Thus... DECEPTION!

Reptile: After restoring Kahn to full health, Kahn places the full blame of his defeat upon Reptile. Losing faith in his master, he prepares to lend a hand to Raiden by preparing his assassination. Thus... DECEPTION!

Drahmin: After recovering the memories of his past, he develops a silent hatred for what he has become. As he despises himself, his animosity towards his fellow oni rises. In a surprise attack, he strikes Molock down and now fights along side light in hopes of rising again. Thus... DECEPTION!

Mileena: Realizing that Baraka had been using her from the time they meant in an attempt to exploit Kahn, she betrays Baraka and informs her master of his wrong doing. But Kahn doesn't believe her, and insists that if she does not trust Baraka, then she has no allegiance with himself. Mileena turns her back on Kahn and engages a surprise battle with Baraka. Thus... DECEPTION!
