I havnt actully thought about this. They said MKDA had one but wasnt finished so they removed it - They could have had done it this time...
Kinda hope not, inbuilt cheat menus are sort of like glitches that make it easier for people to cheat online. Anyhow, since devices like Gameshark and Codebreaker came out there seem to be less and less games coming out with inbuilt cheats such as these.
The thing is, while DNAS can detect cheat devices, modified game code etc, it is totally incapable of stopping people from activating said cheat menus, glitches etc. There are like a thousand people in this forum complaining that the game is 'broken' enough as it is, since Infinite combos exist they are in essence the same as glitches - they're not supposed to be there yet somehow evaded the bug testers!
The 'walk about before the match starts' thing, and the 'fly across the room' thing both qualify as glitches and keypress cheats! It doesn't matter how much Midway patches the servers, since the error code is at the player's end, short of mailing everyone an updated copy of the game and forcing everyone to use it, there's no way to fix them.
In any case, I am a purist that believes that people who use Gameshark codes OFFLINE in order to unlock goodies for use ONLINE are in fact cheating ONLINE. Say there was a really powerful unlockable character that was way stronger than any other (eg Onaga). If the kode to unlock him was to play the game for 999 hours, the Gamesharkers would be taking him online and whipping everyone else before the ones who refuse to use Gameshark could even up the odds! To this extent I always knew there would be problems in MKD since although it's not possible to cheat ONLINE, people can simply cheat OFFLINE to affect their ONLINE presence!
I think I'm starting to go off on one, but what I'm saying is that the existence of such codes and menus would'nt so much benefit the ones who know of it than become yet another hindrence to those who either don't know of it or refuse to use it. This would make the game less fair than it already is!
In any case, if it's just 1 button fatalities you're after it's possible for the folks at Codejunkies to map a Codebreaker code to a Joker Switch, meaning that you'd have a 'Fatality Any Time' button. These codes are much harder than normal codes to create, but you could always hope that they release them one day.
Peace!

They could write the code so that cheats from the menu could not be activated in online mode. Kinda like in console MK3, you can't play as Shao Kahn/Motaro in Arcade. Just change it so it wouldn't work in online.
Or something along those lines...

Yes, but imagine how infuriating it would be if your opponents always managed to get the finisher in (fatality, hara kiri) before you, as soon as the annoucer says Finish Him - you'd get no chance and a lot of people might think these folks are Gamesharking.
Besides, doesn't it somehow ruin the satisfaction you get from being able to do a finishing move? MKT was fun with it's hundreds of finishers, but Deception would get decidedly repetitive if it was that easy.

exactly, what's the point in having an option to do 5/4 easy button combinations just with a button...that takes away all the fun imo...
