Well, these people aren't really being cheaters seeing as they are doing something that is allowed by the game. Midway is the one to blame for rushing this game out and allowing such infinites to be there in the first place. Also, "cheap assholes" would be a better term to describe these people.

It's exploiting an unexpected problem with the game to gain an unfair advantage.

I've had my fair share of online cheaters. In fact last night someone who picked Batman kept cheesing me with his axe kick ("A") button on Xbox360 over and over again, it really is like an infinite. But little did he know he was only filling up my rage meter every time and I owned his ass and quit on me after the first match.

I friggin hate those cheaters man, there so fuckin annoying! I mean, what the FUCK!!!? How is that even supposed to be fun? I have to keep on using the same moves because the person I'm usually fighting won't let me do anything else!

yea its really stupid. Only 2 problems with the online r the cheaters that use these infinite moves and fact that its kinda laggy. Other than that its really fun. ranked 213 yay.

Just remember something, majority of the time you're playing against someone who continues to use the same move over and over again, chances of that player being some 10 year old little punk are pretty high.

Trust me, when you play a lot of Online games, you come to realize that the majority of the cheaters online are coming from 10 year olds who beleive that they're almighty and powerful just because they just realize that performing the same move over and over again will always accomplish something.

Remember people, doing the same sex move over and over again in bed won't get you anywhere, so take this advice... only because someone gave me this advice earlier today and for some reason it came in handy even though I'm still a virgin, I understood it's point for some strange reason. Think about it real hard... it'll teach you something.

The best solution is to play with established peers, whether it'd be friends, forumers, and online players who have fought you fairly in the past. Aren't the infinities suppose to get patched in the long run anyway?

But hey, I've never really been an online gamer. If my available time were an integer and you subtracted the time it takes to complete single-player modes plus the time spent playing with friends/visitors, I'd be left with a negative number. Damn you Brawl.

It sucks. in Aus we called it dogging in the 90s, and the only reward you got for it was a swift punch in the arm. Too bad you can't do that online hehe

cheating is a code you enter and for the 360 entering a code disables acivments for that game

i dont think enting flash's moves 10 tiems or spaming superman's ground pounds dissables acivments and trophys


a good gamer will allways find ways around this problem dont complan that they spam a move over and over it is not cheating its playing unfairly

Cheating doesn't always have to be entering codes.
Being cheap and finding glitches and infinities could be considered cheating depending on what it is.Cheating could be finding errors in the game's programing and glitches and exploiting those is cheating.Just cause its in the game doesn't always make it right,its the lack of effort of the testers that do not find them that hurts the game,oddly enough this happens so much with most MK games you gotta start to wonder how those guys still have jobs at testing the games.

If cheating simply involved entering codes, there wouldn't be guidelines (especially on XB Live) for having someone banned because of it.

Ehm... Achievement Hunters anyone? XD What else? Haven't played online yet, but it's obvious that many people want their achievements, isn't it?

I mean... look at this shit:

Online Champion (50 points): 25 Ranked Match wins in a row.
Competitor (50 points): Play 100 chat lobby matches.
Humiliation (20 points): Get a flawless victory Online.

You get the point.

Online Champion is a bit rich without using exploits. The others are very do-able.

Its not cheating, its just cheap as hell and aggravating!

stealing money in monopoly is cheating i dont see where you can add a code in monopoly...

I actually ran into someone who found a way to actually cheat. He made the timer on the clock go from 90 to 0 really fast, and made it so all his special moves repeated x100 speed, that was crazy, cuz the whole time I played him before that he took all his losses legitly and was being legit. Must of been a Jokered code. I didn't know they made a cheat device for PS3, unless it was CodeMajic.

Sure, infinites are horrible. But I hate these simple-fighters much more. I don't like it to be fought without combos. My last fight online was almost without combos...I have no problem if someone is better than me and he beats me. But I hate it to lose against someone, who has a stupid way to fight and no combo skill...like with Scorpions slide, teleport, hellfire, slide, teleport, hellfire...etc...oO dammit. These people need to get caught and killed

ScorpionX, completely agree with you. I mean, if you are a good player, you will find ways around a cheap player, but sometimes it's damn near impossible. For instance, I was dominating the other night till I ran into a captain marvel user. Ordinarily, this would be no problem but he would do nothing but wait for me to come to him. He wouldn't attack and it got boring so I would go after him. Every time I did, Shazaam Shazaam Shazam! I know it sounds like this guy would be no problem but you guys had to see it. This game is still fun but damn these people! Feels good when you beat their cheap asses though, that is if you get around their tactics.
