Point at hand? What have you contributed here? NOTHING but stick your nose where it doesn't belong (trying to go along with the crowd). I can see why so many of you love to try & defend your precious 1TruKing, because ya'll love to see the flame wars which he engages in escalate.
I knew from the start that I'd take a lot of heat from you fanboys & I wholeheartedly realize that I'm the minority here & that suits me just fine. This has never once, prevented me from voicing my opinions, despite how much it goes against popular judgment. So, keep those flames coming!!

Agreed. Seems like he's just kicking up dust and trying to take everybody on for the hell of it, adding relatively little to the actual topic at hand.

I don't need to justify myself to somebody like you, but i'm going to anyway.
I answered the question in the topic at hand, with my own thoughts, in my own words, and (breifly) explained to the thread starter what universal tracking is and how to use it.
If you think that's nothing, then that's fine. I'm sure he appreciated the small explaination (at least, probably more than he appreciates having his thread spammed to holy hell).
Sticking my nose where it doesn't belong? Oh yeah. Telling Konqrr what to post doesn't count as sticking your nose where it doesn't belong, right? Of course not.
You also seem to be hung up on this flamewar thing. Nobody wants to start a flamewar here. Do you? Because it really seems as if you do. Your "I knew from the start that I'd take a lot of heat from you fanboys" and "So, keep those flames coming!!" comments indicate to me this was your intention from the start, but whatever. If you want to continue this nonsense, then go right ahead. You aren't doing yourself, or anybody else any favours.
I'm sure the forum moderators will end up raining on your 'angry little man' parade anyway.

You know, there are two sides to every story, but in this case both sides seem to completely derail Lithium's thread.
The way I see it, nobody is really innocent here. People, you need to start keeping your grudges out of other people's threads.
If someone attacks your character, don't retaliate by writing novel-length posts. That just further pushes the thread off the edge. To prevent future fights, here's a tip: implying that someone is being illogical and shallow isn't an attack on on their logic, that's a direct hit on a person's character. Be more considerate. You can blabber all you want about how it's "tough love," but your approach hasn't work as of yet, and I'm pretty sure it's not going to.
On the other hand, if someone posts something you don't like, ignore them. I'm not going to get too much on 1TruKing's case because he really didn't flame anybody in his initial post. And to all the bystanders who took jabs at one side or the other: stop it. You're not helping.
Anyway, normally when I close threads, I usually give the author a chance to repost the thread, but not this time. I'm really sorry, but it's the same song and dance, and it almost always gets ugly. I'm sorry, man. This thread has been off-topic to the point of no repair.
