i think maybe all the characters of mast MK games will be in it, since in konquest it is said that all of the characters will make an appearance. I think its pretty cool to have other types of mini-games. I personally dont like chess, but its a start.

CHESS!?! IN A MORTAL KOMBAT GAME?!!? That just sounds stupid. Will it be online? As long as the rest of the game is flawless, this won't bother me a bit. If anything in the game is half-done, I'm blaming the lame chess sidegame.

This is not chess, but it's looking like chess but there are diffrent rules. When two figures hit to each other normal fight begins. I think it will worl great. But right now I like konquest more. It's looking like MK's GTA.

actually in the chess game,when u come in contact w/ the opposing character,the 2 character can fight it out under the same rules as versus mode. that what its says in psm mag.... only playable characters can play in the chess like game... what ur talking about is konquest.. note- i love chess so im glad their putting 2 of my fav things together...

If its online it might be okay. But wouldn't you be pissed if you bought a mortal kombat game and the fighting game portion was incomplete because there was a silly chess game.

Its a Board Strategy Game, and the fight will be fought for real!

There are also some special platforms on that board, maybe some power up stuff or something like this.

If they done this well this can be a major fun element of MKD, also the Puzzle Fighter game, do you know how entertaining "Super Puzzle Fighter" from Capcom is?

Believe me, if they do that Puzzle Fighter game well, it will be massively played online =)

The last guy beat me to it. It DOES sound like "Wrath UNleashed" and I can tell you all for those that haven't pled it that's a fun, addictive, strategic game. If this mini-game is even half as good you will spend plenty of hours on it.

Wonder if you can make up teams yourself, Good V Evil, etc.

I think this might be kinda stupid as well. I mean i am so excited 4 this game and all but so far how it is described it seems kinda stupid. But from the looks of things i think the game is going to be good, nothing half done. Because looka at all the stuff they have done already and they still have like 5 months of time to work on the game. So this game eaither way will be awesome.
