I had an idea that every returning character from previous MKs could have one fatality that they have used in a previous version of MK. Here are some examples for some characters...

Kung Lao-(HAT SLICE ENHANCED) He slowly takes his hat off and holds it right in front of his face. With the camera facing Kung Lao, he slowly pulls the hat downward, then you begin to see his eyes. Kung Lao then quickly waves his hat from side to side and three hats appear in his right hand.

He then leans back and he has his right leg stretched outward toward the victim and then in one quick lash of his right arm all three hats impale the victim. The hats then return to Kung Lao and as they're returning to him they merge back to one single and and he catches it and rolls it up his arm and with his bicep flips it up ontop of his head.

The victim is standing there wondering what happend to him, then you start to see blood gushing from his neck, torso, and his shins where the three hats impaled him. After a second or two, the victim's head rolls onto the floor to the right of his body and the torso falls to the left then the lower part of his body falls backwards. Fatality.

Sub-Zero-(HEAD RIP ENHANCED) Sub-Zero walks up to his victim and gets real close to their face and then you see his eyes get a glare in them and then he blows steam in their face and rars back and grabs the victim's head with his right hand. Sub-Zero lets out a loud grunt and then you see blue and white ice particals going up through his bicep down to his forearm then out his hand.

The victim's head freezes then the camer goes inside the victim's body (sort of like in Romeo Must Die if you've ever seen it) and you see the ice freezing his whole spinal cord. As the camera rotates around inside the victim's body you see the victims heart stop beating as the camera passes it.

Once the entire spinal cord is frozen, Sub-Zero then rips the head of the victim off and the spinal cord comes out with it then the camera exits the body through the the neck where the head used to be. Then blood splatters on the camera and the victim's body falls to his knees then falls over side ways. Faatality.

Jax-(HEAD SMASH ENHANCED) He walks over to his victim and rars back and jabs his whole left fist inside of his victim and you see the victim's eyes get real big. Blood gushes out of the huge hole Jax made. Jax then rars back with his right arm and grabs his victim's head. Jax then rips the head clean off and crushes it with his hand.

Jax tries to shake off his victim's body, but to no avail, so he gets mad and then you see a purple glow inside of the body and Jax jumps up into the air and slams his fist onto the ground spliting the victim's body into several whole pieces that slide across the floor. Fatality.

(Those are just a few examples, I might post more later.)

I just hope Scorpion gets his Toasty fatality back. Good ideas though, I don't like Jax's thought but I don't like Jax anyway so. Sub-Zero's is cool but the blood shouldn't go on the camera and he shouldn't freeze the guys head. Good ideas though. They are good ideas but....

I think like waht you said for Kung Lao's I think he should just cut the guy in half, but do something before that, just to make it longer.

Um... I think you're missing the point of my ideas. My ideas weren't meant to make the old fatalities longer or have different camera angles and all that stuff, it was to make the old fatalities better.

I would like to see Baraka's (if he's back) Lift-Off Fatality.....

He would walk up to the opponent. Hold his head with one hand....gut him wit the other and as U see his blade go through the back, he guts his opponent wit the other hand/blade...and then lifts his victim up and then the slowly slide down his blades....

Yeah I love the way you wrote Subby head rip. that was the best fatality in my opinion, and I would love to see come back.

I would also like to see Jax's arm rip....He starts off but grabbin one arm while holdin the victims shoulder....and you see him strugglin a lil bit but then he gives it a gook yank and one arm is pulled off the opponent...and then he grabs the opponents other arm and does the same....

Ureiko, great idea man. If they can have 2 Fatalities (whoever thought the day would come where we'd have to wish for just 2 fatalities?), I'd love to see 1 new one, and 1 re-make.

yeah, I was pretty disapointed that Scorpion's toasty wasn't in the game. Maybe they can spice it up by having the opponent fall over, scorpion walking to the corpse, and casually pulling their skull out of the fire.

All cool ideas peeps.

Heres a modified Fatality for Raiden.

He sends an electrical surge of energy into the opponents heart and steps back. A camera inside their body shows the eletricity moving around their heart and it suddenly bursts releasing the electricity into the rest of the body. The camera zooms back outside and the electricity has gone wild and we see it coursing up and down the opponents body and its coming out of their eyes, mouth, ears etc. The body eventually explodes.

Whoa, these are all great ideas. If I remade the spine rip, Sub-Zero would walk up to his opponent and put his hand on their head, proceeding to rip off their head and reveal a dangling spine. Then, replays from several different angles would be shown, including one from inside the opponent's body where the spine just suddenly flies up and off-screen. Unrealistic torrents of blood (ex. MK1 Rayden's "head pop") ensue.

Maybe, if Midway wants to put any sort of focus back on the fatalities, the finishers would be slightly different for the normal and alternate costumes. That way the two spine rips described on this thread could both be used, but with the player's choice! Excellent.

All of Kano's classic fatalities should return in one. I love all of the ideas above, but some of the fatalities should have a pseudo-comical twist. No, I don't mean some crap "Arcade Drop". Here's an example: Kano rips out his opponent's still-beating heart, then throws it into the air above him, whips out a baseball bat, and hits the heart so hard it flies into the opponent's face causing their head to explode. He sticks his hand down the neck stump and takes out the skeleton. For the finale, he holds the skeleton up by the spine and use his eye laser to blast it into dust. Then (here's an alt costume fatality idea) Reptile would appear in the corner and say "Boasty!!" for no apparent reason.

Speaking of "-oasties", I also think Toasty should return. Just how I'm not sure, so I won't make some stupid suggestion. Anyone want to try?

good idea for the sub-zero fatality, cept he has to do something with the huddled corpse of the opponent, such as kick it into some lava if ur in a "lava shrine"-like stage. sub-zero rulz

another fatality of subby I would love to see return is the fatality unmasked subby does. It's the one where he lifts the opponent over his head freezes and shatters them. That was a really good fatality that I wish was improved upon.

I would like to see Jax's arm rip fatality brought back,

Jax would grab the opponent's arms and take his foot and plant it on the opponent's chest, then Jax would make a loud grunt and rip the opponent's arms off, the opponent would fall to the ground screaming in pain and then jax would take both arms and beat on the opponent like a drummer does to a drum, you see blood gushing out of the arms and blood spatting on jaxes face as he beats the opponent to death. Jax then throws the arms off in to the back round and does his pose with blood covered on his metalic arms and on his face.
