Apparently they have been replaced by another system? When you are in close kombat or freefall, you have a chance to escape. Is everyone happy that combo breakers are gone, or are you going to miss them?

Combo breakers are still there, they added them in the latest build. I never really liked them.
Good thing is that they're going to give a different breaker animation for each character now.

That's very good, combo breakers are necessary I was playing MKDA and I thought that that was the only thing missing from that game.

Only because of the way the fighting mechanic is designed though.

Band-Aid mechanic. That's all combo breakers are. Why not design a system where there is no need for them to begin with like every other competent fighting game?

I like combo breakers, and I think it's something that should be in any games with combos at this point. MK does it perfectly too with the 3 breakers per fight. What I don't want in are Parries. Those are the lamest thing in history when it came to MKA's online. If parries are in, they should take away from your combo breaker count. I hate when people spam the parries online.

Rage Mode and the breakers both use the same meter so I doubt will see any abusers out there

You'd be surprised, if the people who use them are combo junkies, like myself.
