I really like the way that combos are executed in MK:DA, you know pressing 1,2,4,cs,1,2,cs etc... And there is a nice amount of combos and different breakdowns of the full branches.
Now, what would you think if, in Mk6, it was just a bit more open ended and allowed you to end combos with an attack of your choice?
Once you start remembering a character's combos, it becomes easy to defend them as well. So, wouldn't it be cool to be able to, in the middle or end of a combo, throw in an unexpected sweep to catch them off guard? Or, if you're hitting them with a combo, throw in a launcher somewhere to get some flashier stuff in?
I think it could add a little more variety and fun to the game... and definately keep you on your toes!

You know what be kind of cool? An evading button. Something like "Enter the Matrix". That be pretty sweet, also it'll look so awesome dodging punches and kicks. I bet you anything it'll look like a Jet Li or Jacky Chan fight!

Also I would like to see the addition of a breaker of some sort. For example: You are blocking a combo and by pressing HCF+P or K right as you are hit you can either do a "quick evede" or just break the combo stunning both you AND THE OPPONENT.
The juggle system was pretty good in DA along witht the damage setting. After a while you do NO damage. it's better than the "Maximum damage" in MK4.
The auto combos can stay but improve on them. Have more links included like a 1,2,1,4,3,SC,innovate/finisher. i also don't think style changes should include a hit to link. That should be up to the player.
They should try to aim towards faster, more stratgy based gameplay based both off the characters, stage environments and gameplay additions.
i would love to see Jax be slow as hell and kitana like a littly fly all over the place.
