Well SOME info is good. But I'm kind of glad that they're holding SOME things back. I mean, I'd like to have certain things be a surprise. Like fatalities, I don't want to see them all, or know how to do them BEFORE the game comes out. I'd rather stumble onto them myself and be completly surprised when I pull it off. The same for the secrets and such. I think leavin some stuff in the dark until after release is a good idea. Last time we just knew TOO much TOO soon. That's just IMO though.

I totally agree, kind of. I don't think we should have seen the DK until we earned it. And I think we have seen too many fatalities, especially because we've already seen both of Mileena's. But we are seriously lacking in screenshots and vids. I just want to see some in game screens of some CONFIRMED characters, no secrets. I'd also like to know the real name of some of the speculated fighters like Ben/Cobra and Skab/Havik.

This is a little info! Ha, I'm annoyed at the amount they've already shown! (Especialy the DK, but my theory is that HE is the sub-boss, y show us the end boss sooo early?)

TT is right, things need to be kept secret. It is not nearly as much fun knowing what's gonna happen, instead of stumbling across it. I say no more updates (well, maybe 1) before MKD come out. It's under 50 days, I'm sure everyone can wait, plus it'll be worth it...

I hate how we know very little of the story. Especially since Midway prides themself on having a deep, involved mythology. Why are they holding back on this? It's not like revealing the opening bios is a spoiler. They will be in the booklet! Telling us the opening stories would cause absolutely no harm. If anythin it'd make me, and I am sure others, a lot more hyped since it's such an important factor.

It's just sad that we know a lot more about Tekken 5's story than MKD and that was unveiled at E3.

Ya know, when new info comes out, I never hesitate in looking at it. So in a sense, I'd agree with the whole "if you don't wanna know, don't look" philosophy. But when you see something, like a topic, or news etc, the first instinct is too look first because you wanna know, even if you don't.

Every time I look at news, I'm always disappointed afterwards. Not because I don't like what's being done with the game mind you, but because I wish that I hadn't seen what I just saw. When I found out that Kabal, my second favorite character of all time would be in the same game as my favorite character, Baraka, I was ecstatic. Then that wore off a little bit, and now I kinda wish that I had just seen him in the select screen when I first put the game in my system.

Sure, it's everyone's choice not to look, but how many people can turn away from something that they want to know more about? Especially when it comes to their favorite video game of all time.

That said, I think the flow of information has been steady, but not overflowing. I remember a TON of stuff was out by the time MK:DA was 2 months away. At least now, we still have some really good mysteries, some of which might be left until the game is released, and some even longer than that!

These are just a few off the top of my head:

1) Who is the sub boss?
2) What are the characters stories?
3) What is the main story of the game?
4) Where are: Liu Kang, Sektor, and Jax?
5) What's up with Noob/Smoke?
6) How do we unlock the super secret characters?
7) What are the real names of Kobra & Skab?
8) Will we see even more new characters? Havik?
9) How customizable will Shujinko be? Name?
10) What's up with that other fatality?

That's what I'm saying. Like I said before, I don't want fatalities. I don't want any secret characters. I just want some screenshots. In August 2002, there was an update with sixteen screenshots all at once. Then shortly thereafter, there were some vids released. That is all I want. Something new to look at. Doesn't necessarily have to be new even. I wouldn't mind seeing more fighting footage from characters we've already seen. I just want some media. JINX.

we new shang and quan chi both were the boss and we knew about the only two secret characters in the game before it came out in deadly alliance! they gave us way to much last time....they cut down alot this time, good... however i would like to see more stuff but they have kept conques, and both many games under raps...that is fine but i want to see more characters!

Ok, let's pretend they haven't showed us much for MKD, how is this a problem? Given that every single jackalope that studied each video of DA to death in the months before release was pissed after day 2 of its release because they had already unearthed every iota of game data, unlocked every Koffin & already tired of looking for fatalities for Mokap & Blaze, I think their thinking in releasing less info than last time is a good idea.

Now, let's look at what we have heard & compare it to every MK that hit the arcades (MK1-4). What did we know about those? Almost nothing beforehand. The first thing I heard about any of the MKs before it was released was in a print mag (that MK3 had a run button). I only learned who was in MK1-3 when I watched other people playing the game with my quarter on the monitor.

Compared to the early games, we already have a helluva lot of information about the game. Almost too much. I wish kinda that I had stopped reading info early on, so that I didn't know what the DK looked like - or all 24 characters' names. Now, I'm tempted to think that there are more than 24 characters like all the Super Secret jerks kept chanting about last time with no substantiation.

It's too bad I'm such an internet ho-bag that I come here every day to catch the latest update. Speaking of, it was almost every day for 10-14 days that we had an update starting in late July through August 11th. Just because we've almost hit a week without a site News update doesn't translate into no spoiler info. Midway has been better about putting the info in the videos and the video with the Dragon King was PACKED with information about the game to all but the blind internet surfer. So, stop whining; have some patience & play Doom 3 through a second time - that's what Midway's ad team is probably taking a break doing.

I say, let the info flow!!! Pour it on us!!! whoever doesn't want to be spoiled... dont look at it... but I wanna be spoiled as much as I wanna fanta!!!

Its better to not have as much info, it adds to the mystery of the game. I dont think we should get any new info until the game comes out.

I guess some of you couldn't comprehend what I was saying, even after saying it more than once. I don't want to know secret characters. And what secret characters have we seen? What makes them secret? Obviously they aren't because we've seen them. I don't want info, which is what some of you are too ignorant to understand. I want media. That doesn't mean that we have to see more things that ruin surprises. I just want updates meaning new screens, renders, and vids. I'd like to see Skab/Havik in action. I'd like to see a render of Kabal. I hardly think these things ruin surprises. Read what I'm typing, then think. Don't think as you read. Some of you aren't advanced enough for that.

What secrets have we seen? Jade is not a secret. Would Liu Kang even be a secret? No, he's been confirmed. August 2002, we received 10 vids, over 16 screenshots, 1 trailer, pics of fatalities(which I don't want), and character bios.
