The EX series was not made by Capcom. It was made by a company called Akira I think. They just bought Capcom's rights to use the characters in their games.

hmm SF4 eh? this is going to be one of the biggest hypes for the PS3 and 360 (chances being on the WII, slim to non) im looking forward to this game almost as much as im looking forward to tekken 6 and resident evil 5. i swear if its in 3D it better that one 3D SF game for the PS2 (not EX of course) if its in 2D well.........it'll be 2D lol.

My guess is SF4 will be entirely 3D but played on a 2D plane.
