Connecting to PS2 Online

Is anyone else unable to connect to MK Online? My screen gets to the loading screen with the 2 Scorpion heads on it and freezes. This started happening last night and is still going on. I've had the game since it came out and have not had a problem until now. Any ideas on what the problem is. I've run the Connection test and it says it is fine, but the game freezes everytime I choose my connection.

PLEASE HELP!furious

try unplugging your modem and plug back in.

The only problem I ever have with PS2 online is after playing someone it will sometimes freeze or take like 3-5 minutes to do the "reconecting player, downloading stats, and joining gamespy" part.

Actually, does the game freeze while playing arcade mode, or any other mode? Have you noticed any lockups on your computers?

No, the rest of the game plays perfect. It just doesn't get past the screen with the 2 scorpion heads.

this happens to me as well. i've had the game since the 4th and have never been able to get online. but i can play my other games online. i made a post about this last week and no one helped me. glad to see i'm not alone

I don't know how to remedy the situation. It's not the ps2...not the game....not the modem. Maybe it is, but why does it work on other things. I sent emails to Midway, but they haven't replied.
