Let me start off by saying I sure hope not. I've just been considering how much content is being put into this game. We will apparantly have all MK characters from all games making appearances in Konquest mode, several fan favorites like Sindel and Noob Saibot returning from a long hiatus, huge multi-tiered levels, multiple fatalities per fighter, and possibly even suicide-like finishers! I almost get the feeling that Boon and Company are trying to put so much into this game as if it were a fairwell gift to the fans!

I'm not trying to upset anyone with this thread, and if the series continues for many more games I will be thrilled.

Just think, if the series continues long after Deception and all those games have the content of this one, we will all be very happy campers!

Let me know your thoughts, and remember, I don't want anyone to panic or get upset over this thread. It's only a curious thought of mine!

Thank you!

I doubt it, they've said that about every MK game since like UMK3

I think the only reason they put every character in konquest is because they dont want to dissapoint the fans that have a favourite character. i mean, we ALL have our own favourite character, but ed boon cant put everyone in the fighting game right? So i think to make everyone pleased, he will put every character in konquest so they make a brief appearance.

As for the series ending, i dont see it happening soon at all. Just look at how popular MK is. I think MK will be something that will continue for a long time, which makes me more than happy.

I hope that it's not. The only way it'd be the last one is if this game doesn't generate enough revenue to even bother making a sequel. If it's popular, then we'll get one after it. If not... I'd rather not think about it.

Lui Kang was a good start. Sonya would be a good next choice.

With all the storyline behind Mortal Kombat, I believe they will take the time to complete each character's story. Will that be done in this game? Doubtful.

Ed Boon said he would make Mortal Kombat games as long as people bought them. Seeing as how there's plenty of people gobbling them up, I wouldn't count on any MK end any time soon.

Absolutely not. As long as Ed Boon and the MK team are breathing, we will never hear the last of MK.

It could be that Boon is gonna load MK7 with tons of new charcaters so hes bringing most of the old ones back for mk6.

i think that everyone is coming back to mk deception. well not everyone, it seems like they are though but they're not.

that would be a great idea if there were mk7 but the only problem is what if some people got killed in mkd and wont appear in mk7. they just cant make another characters.

This game will get great reviews (I can tell already based on content) and there will be alot of hype around it. Hype = slaes. Sales = more games.

This won't be the last. Plus this is Midways main source of income when it comes to most there games. Whenever an MK game comes out Midway alsways sees a peek in sales. It would be stupid of them to get rid of their top game.

Plus fans won't let it die. MK games have sort of a cult behined it. Midway won't let fans down.
