I don't think that just because Tanya is wearing green the announcer has to say "Jade wins!" I think it will say Tanya. I think that her green outfit will be her Alt. and her Alt is just related to the story of her disguising herself as Jade.

That could work but the element of surprise is gone this way. I’m expecting a few surprises in the storyline for us in MKD.

^Plus this isn't the first time that a fighting game character's true identity has been hidden. One example is Hayato(?) - "Ein" from DOA: Hardcore. (Haven't played the game in so long...)

Anyway, back on topic: I certainly hope that isn't Tanya in green, too, but it's a strong possibility - esp. with the other Jade behind bars in the prison level.

Much as I'd prefer it to be Jade, it's starting to seem like it's Tanya in (a magical, presumably) disguise.

Forest Demon over at DavesMK seems to believe it's Tanya, not Jade- and he's always come up tops so far...

(And as others have posted, there's the image of her in prison)

It'd be good if Jade was unlockable through Konquest (or completion with Sindel); then the Announcer in later games would read "Tanya" for Tanya and "Jade" for Jade. And Tanya could go back to a yellow outfit.

....or maybe Jade gets captured right away, isn't in the game, and that is Tanya in an alt, and the alt has NOTHING to do with the storyline, except to add a new costume? Gee, the most possible of all (if it isn't Tanya) would be this, but noone even thinks of it....

Ok so let's say it really is Tanya, how would she mimick Jade's special abilities and fighting styles? Tanya is no Shang Tsung. I believe some abilities are innate to certain characters such as ice for subzero, fire for scorpion, and agility/shield for Jade. Tanya may look like Jade but certainly wont play like her.
