We will be having another Crazy 88 Tournament for members only. If you want to participate you will have to tryout. In Actuality there will be 2 tournaments REGS (no bosses) and KAKS, and if there is enough interest there will be another , Unlimited (any character). The rules are simple, first to win 3 games moves on, the loser is eliminated. I will coordinate the matches and all matches will take place at The Pyramid of Argus. The tournament will start ruffly about midnight mountain time this Sunday Feb 17.
I also want to state that unlike most klans our leader is not necarily the best ( which means me!!!). WE don't have a best yet. That's the purpose of these tournaments. In my experience rank doesn't describe the true essence of a player ,good and bad. When we find out who the best is I will crown him Grand Champion of The Crazy 88's. That person will have the distinction of not only being the best in our klan but hopefully will play with respect (no pun intended) , be true, and be recognized. That person will also be granted a special tag. Ofcourse he will also have to defend his crown and could end up losing it, but a match of that caliber would have to be sanctioned by me so that it is recognized as official.
As the leader of this klan I know that not every member is honest. People deserve a 2nd chance. I will kick members out if they are constantly screwing up ( pulling,cheating, etc). What can you expect from a klan called the Crazy 88's? Because of all this I will need a second in command. He should have a special title. I will be searching for this most loyal of members and determining a way on how I should decide who this member will be. Any input by anybody would be greatly appreciated.
Finally as time goes on and our membership grows, the best fighting
members , including the Grand Champion, will be in a league of their own,

I agree with you Funkopath, most definetly. Once I gain enough experience throwing tournaments for the Crazy 88's I will be throwing open and invitaional tourneys. So fear not mortal. Anyhow I'm very happy to announce that the winners of the reg and kak tournaments thrown on 2/17/08 were none other than yours truly. The competition was weak (sorry guys) but competive. Too bad Slayr88 , Class88, and 88Bishop were no shows. I'm also very sorry to report that there was little interest in the Unlimited Tournament . We also gained a killer player in our little army of Crazy 88's, Privte88. Many of you guys know him but he's asked to remain anonymus. LOL. He not only brings a higher level of play to our little group but he's serious and legit. Just so that there is no confusion I would like to mention that I am in other klans as well and one way to get better is to learn from others who do a good job and play with respect (again no pun intended). I also have to give credit where credit is due, and I am a better player because I play against others who are phenomonal so please read my good games post. If I didn't post your name and you gave me ggs please remind me.

I think we had a DM tourney once....it was fun but i dont see how you can throw tourneys every week for your clan...kinda boring.

Sounds like you guys need to face the PWR crew and see who wins,may be funner.



No clans would be able to Give BMF comp if our members were active,To good of a roster.


But i know in the future if there was enough hype we could get 5 or so of us together,but right now its just not worth it..

Our secret member belongs to the HA klan. The next tournament date will be announced soon. I wil be keeping an eye <0> on all players this coming weekend so that I can make a wise decision on who to invite to a future tournament that will be opened to players regardless of klan affiliation or if they are solo.

I first played MKD online through my employees XBox. Obviously being new, I didn't belong to a klan. I really enjoyed it when I participated in tournaments as a solo. Now I'm a member of several klans, and once a member always a member ( what is this the friggin mafia?). There seem to be more klan type tournaments as opposed to tourneys open to anybody. The reason for that is that non-members are a higher risk for non-cooperation. There are plenty of legit solo players and I'm sure those out there that I don't know about will be recommended by others. I know that for sure I would be happy to host an event open to legit players, solo and klan members. All those involved will be given a password to a private room. When all this happens we will know who's the best on that given day. I definately won't put up any of my cash but if we decide to, everyone can put in an entry fee and house money as to create a prize purse and payment for the organization of this event.

What was your main clan in MKD,i think i rem. playin you if your the right guy.....i think the clan started with a s im not sure.

My main klan was the Crazy 88's. Paragon and I started this klan. We fought each other of leadership and I became klan master. He became co-founder and head recruiter. I never joined any other klan but I did have other tags including Aqualung and MadMax. We did have a lot of members though and I quit playing because I lost my internet service. Paragon became the new leader and I don't know what happened since I left. When I came to Armageddon I restarted the Crazy 88 klan not knowing that 88Bishop had started it already. I have since assumed leadership once again.

Once again I ruled in last nights tournament. It was a kak tourney and I defeated Bloody. He has more skill. I don't know how I prevailed. VIP, FLIP AND TAZ were on hand as well. No reg or unlimited tourneys played. I also recruited a few more 88's as well. If they pull some manuevers that are questionable please let me know. I will be holding an invitational tournament soon. If anyone ,klan member or independent is interested please let me know, especially krayzbn, rippa and shogun. And if you are a player who kan only fite a certain time give me those times your abailable (I'm hispanic). I also want to make a ruling body to crown champions. Pullers, quiters, boosters, and n e other type of scrub will not be allowed in any or all of these tournaments and championship matches and much less this governing body I propose. Any feedback is kool.

Kak's are for scrubs who need 60-100% damage in one broken combo,fastest and most broken moves.

Yes mortals, its tourna, tourna, tournament time ! Sunday Nite I am going to hold tournaments, for players of all ages. Starting time will be 10:00 mountain time. March 16 is the date. The rulz are this: I am Shang Tsung (ala Mk 1) and everyone fights each other. If you get fatalitied, your out. If your opponent doesn't fatality you (because he can't or allows you MERCY) then you can continue. You can only get back in if you relog with another tag, no 0,0,0 tags allowed. The winner becomes champion of Mortal Kombat. The winner must then face me to become Grand Champion. P.S. when I said for all ages I meant for any person regardless of Klan or affiliation. The password for this event is Aqua. Nuf Said.

I have considered the following changes: No Blood, and Only one ID. The tournament will be locked out at 10:15 mountain time. Another rule is this, only one member from each klan is allowed. If no one from here is in it, then that would be very sad. If I can get one person from here to enter then this was a good thing. I noticed that people are afraid to enter. It's just a game people. However, the winner will have bragging rights. Very many skilled kombatants out there but there can only be one winner. Those that lose will have nothing to be shamed about. As long as you give it your best, that is all you can ask for. I love tournaments, and I have lost way more than those that I have won. The pressure, the excitement, the anticipation, and the fellowship is what I love about touraments. So start practicing and bring your "A" game.

@ Thunder88 - i got your messege but honestly dude , if i join we all know here whats going to happen . i think its a great idea dont get me wrong , my only fear is upon my joining , it would kill the fun in trying to figure out who will win .
