or maybe he was brainwashed by Havik... as far as we know Hotaru and Darrius are from Order, while Havik is from Chaos.. however, Darrius fights against order and is allyes with Havik... maybe Havik kidnapped him from DA ( he is not lying down like the others...) and gave him human form and implanted false memories...
