It has not been confirmed yet weather or not it is Cyrax doing his hari-kari move; a lot of people keep saying it's CONFIRMED but it's not! I really believe that it is Cyrax (Hotaru already has 2 other costumes) but who knows!

It is Hotaru's alternate costume. This is confirmed. Look at the body armor, it's identical to his other. The only difference is that he is wearing his battle helmet in that one particular scene. Cyrax is in Deception. Period.

Kel-X wrote this before and I think I agree with 'em. Hotaru most likely assassinated Cyrax and wears his (Cyrax's) helmet as a defiant prize of some sorts. It's not confirmed but it might be so.

if you look on top of the helmet it looks like hotaru's hair is coming out of the top in a ponytail

Look at the fingers coming out of his gloves. They're pale, leading me to believe this is not Cyrax. The helmet really only vaguely resembles Cyrax so I doubt Hotaru killed him and this is what he's wearing.

Its Hotaru. Must be his alternate outfit. The character is breaking his own neck. And it says on the main site, I think, that we see Hotaru performing a neck break Hari Kiri move.

Not only is that not Cyrax, logically speaking it would be impossible for Cyrax to wear a different helmet or get new armor because he's a robot. Who's gonna upgrade this guy?! No one. I'm assuming that costume #2 in DA is because he can take his face plate off(?) But yeah, I think I've made my point.

It's Hotoru not Cyrax. He has the exact same body armor and you can see his gray poney tail.

Cyrax's armor was upgraded from MK3 and Gold in MKDA, why couldn't it be upgraded again... that isn't a valid point... the special forces have technology most likely to change his outer armor and in his alternate a lot of his armor comes off so altering his armor isn't that far fetched... but that probally isn't cyrax though...

right now Ed Boon is sitting in his office reading this going Muhahahaha. I gotta go with the others, its Hotaru, not to say Cyrax isnt in MK:D (heres to hoping hes not) but i dont think thats him.

And plus, how could a robot break his neck? I know he is a human under, but they don't go with that story at all. He bleeds oil, shoots bombs from his chest, and has a saw in his chest...A robot, or cyborg, can not break it's neck.
