actually.... i used to hate dairou and thought he is worst player in game but one time my friend decided to be him and he was very good... i liked his special moves and i liked his weapon....
so now dairou is my 2nd fav character in the game.... but his alt costume makes me wanna puke

Sounds like most of us prefer Dairou over Darrius.

look midway isnt great when it comes to new and intersesting characters. every now and then we get some who are cool and new but most the time we get ripoffs or stupid characters. i think midway needs to stop trying to make so many new characters and just develop the ones we got. maybe 2 or 3 new not 6 or 7 new characters. here are a list of characters that i think the mk world could of done without.

4.mokap
5.blaze
6.jarek
7.reiko
8.hsu hao
9.shinnok (by far the worse boss ever)
10.stryker
11.meat
12.kira
if we never would of had those 12 characers we would only have 48 total characters and alot of those total characters would be alot more developed. but im sure midway will continue with its tradition of making 7-8 new characters and 5-6 of them being crappy. but hey this is just my opinion.

Probably right. I did like alot of the MKDA characters. Frost and Nitira mostly. Both of which are absent. I hated Limei but They really brought her up a few levels in this game. So maybe one day Darrius will be cool. I'm not counding on it. They bombed with every new character in this game Havik has his fans and I don't dislike him so he can stay. Darrius and Dariou are sooo boring and bland I have a hard time caring about them at all one way or the other. Kobra is a joke of the worst kind.
The MK team seams to have judgment problems with thier characters. Did we get Frost one of the most popular characters to come along in a long time? No we got Bo' Fatso and his loverboy Kobra. I also think the game lacks a lot of popular players for the simple reason that they know we will want the next game if they hold out on us.
If MKDA didn't have so may short commings that MKD fixes then I wouldn't mind playing MKDA for those characters. MKDA is just so totaly blown away by this game that I can't bring myself to take that many steps back. Even for the love of Frost. If we just had her instead of loosers like Darrius
At least the return cast members are all still cool. It just hard to belive the same guys that made Ermac made Kobra.
