For the record Newb, newbie, Noobie, noob all originaly come from new/beginer. It common slang all across the the world wide web for people just getting started in something. If you want to go around changing the meaning something we already have 18 words for just to try and make some lame point then go ahead. We will all just sit back and marvel at your "newb"ness.

You just played down the visit count thing, then contradicted yourself by making an issue out of it. Is it an issue or not? Make up your mind, because your not coming off as particularly intelligent here.

Anyways....
I suppose recently a "Newb" has been described as someone with a "low post count, or someone who posts topics that have been discussed about over and over again."
Atleast to me....the way I see a newb is someone who is well "New" to the community. They may post topics that have been talked about alot, who may break the rules (if they don't know them), and there is probably other stuff.
Don't judge a newb by there visit count because some of them don't automatically join the forums. They may browse it for awhile to see what people ahve to say, to see if it's good, and to (possible) know the rules and what not to break. Basically to get prepared enough to not get yelled at or flamed before joining the forums.
I do wish there was a forum for rants and raves and to just let your anger out, maybe alot a forum for people that can ask questions without worrying about getting flamed (for literal newbies who may be new to Mortal Kombat or the forum or stuff like that).
As for locking this forum and banning people....I don't know. I kind of enjoy it and I think if it doesn't become a full blown-out flame war that it should stay. It may teach people something lol. (probably not)
