Nothing confirmed yet. We don't know if he'll be unlockable or not (although everybody expects that he won't.... for some reason...). The only thing we do know for sure is that he'll be the final boss.

According to the developers there won't much unlocking stuff. They will release more characters by add content which it means you have to buy them. That's the strategy for them.

well, i guess that game companies just care about the money. but isnt mk vs dc going to have a lot of downloadable content? and will shhao khan and darkseid be in the character selecttion screen. or will you ave to enter a certain code like in stf anniversary collecton in stf 2 u had to enter a certain code to be akuma.

Why? I mean, as far as I know, nothing has been confirmed yet. We know that Darkseid as well as Shao Kahn will be unlockable, but that doesn't have to mean that there isn't some kind of super hidden special ultra code or something like that to unlock Dark Kahn too.

Nothing is clear until it is confirmed. Moreover, he could be available as DLC (which is some kind of "unlocking" I guess). I’m not saying that he WILL be a playable character for sure. I’m just saying that it could be possible! Therefore, I don't understand why everyone is so convinced that he won't be unlockable or available as DLC.

True i see your point, but for the most part especially in the MK world Big bosses arent usually playable until maybe a later game
for example, how long was it until Shao Kahn was a Playable character, even Shang Tsung wasnt playable right away, and niether was the dragon king!

Dark Kahn might not be a seperate playable character, but it is a possibility that if you pick Shao Kahn and Darkseid there might be a move or special were the 2 fuse /merge for a breif period of time!
who knows, we just have to play to see

they will be in the select screen beat story with mk for kahn beat is with dc for dark thats how it works mabye one or two hiddens and as for alot of dlc idk probbly depends on how well the first batch of dlc dose and so on and so forth
