Yeah, I was thinking the same way when I saw his alt. I like it!!!

I think it is one of the worst alt costumes ever.
No detail or thought was put into it....bleh.

I think the same It doesn't really fit MK more it reminds me on Tekken

No thought was put into it?!? Excuse me? Alot of thought was put into this. This costume was a tribute to Jim Kelly's character Black Belt Jones in Enter the Dragon. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean no thought was put into it. And don't say that it doesn't belong in MK cause MK was built on movies like Enter the Dragon and Big Trouble in Little China. Its a martial arts game based on martial arts movies. It has every place here. it just isn't as detailed as the new MK costumes, so it look slightly out of place. While I like his regular costume better myself, I will have no qualms about playing his alt.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one notecing this. True that the alt looks a little out of place.

Sindel_Fan check Darrius' bio at IGN, you can see it in that video. The funny thing is that they talk about it as if it was a great costume they made lol. To me it's awfull, it doesn't fit with the mood of Mortal Kombat, seems out of place IMO.
BTW did you notice Darrius has Cyrax's infamus spinning kicks from MKDA??

The alt looks bad. It's out of place in MK. Bright orange is not what MK is about! A darker shade of orange would work. But I still don't like it. He reminds me of Eddy Gordo, Tiger and Dee Jay.

I thought the exact same thing. Hell, Enter the Dragon appears to be the basis for the original Mortal Kombat.

I thought of that too, Darrius's alternative outfit looks like that guy from Enter The Dragon.

So maybe there WAS thought put into it.
That does not excuse it from being out of place in comparison to the rest of the uniforms....
But to each his own....I won't be using that one for sure.
