Look at two diffierent quotes by Ed Boon from two different sources.
respond to this as you like
---- Quote from fight night ------
" Well, there are not any additional hidden selectable characters on the main menu. "
---- Quote from a video interview ---- ( see link below )
" The main grid of characters that you choose from is going to be 24, but there is going to be more than that in the game. We really wanted to have alot of stuff thats hidden in the game thats not even apparent on the main select screen. These modes start off with a smaller amount of characters and then they grow to the full size as you unlock things in konquest mode and in the krypt and all that. We really wanna kindda tease players with whatelse is burried inside the game. "
----------
to see proof of that quote look for the video that says " Ed Boon tells GameSpot about Mortal Kombat Deception in this exclusive developer interview "

That is a very good point. However, its the way he words things that get me. He uses the word MAIN alot. The MAIN select screen. There are not any more characters on the MAIN menu.

And wasnt that at an E3 demo or something. Why would he state something that wasnt true in an " official ? " interview. I know that some people think that ed boon is shady and would lie to whoever, but i just can't shake the comparrison.
