Okay, many people love the heroes like Superman, Batman, The Flash, etc. But what of the villains category? I mean...Superman is great but what of The Joker, Doomsday, Darkseid & Metallo with a heart of Kryptonite. I'm pretty fucking psyched for this game but I'd like to see more than just the same villains from MK.

DC has some really dark villains.

However, the vast majority of them are cerebral and rely on gimmicks, weapons, or devious schemes and traps over martial arts.

As dark and cool as the Joker is, he's never struck me as a fighter. Same goes for other cool villains like Scarecrow, The Riddler, Mad Hatter, Lex Luthor, Braniac, etc.

Some villains that ARE good fighters include Bane, Ra's Al Ghul, Metallo, Doomsday, Killer Croc, Deathstroke, Cheetah, and Darkseid.

Joker not a fighter? It may be rare, but in some comics he does fight and it's a tad violent. I'll see if I can get my hands on some pics for you.

Joker tends to fight only when he needs too, like a cornered animal, or when he has the upper hand, like when Jason Todd was tied up and he beat the snot out of the kid with a lead pipe.

You know, he could be just as crafty to a weakened fighter such as Superman considering the lack -o- sun + magical elements. I'd have to say after a crafty move, he could gain the upper hand eh? Enough to be cheap and bitch slap someone?

I would like to see the Joker involved, even if he isn't known for his fighting skills. Superman isn't either, but I doubt that'll stop them from giving him attacks that bare strong resemblence to martial arts.

I can also see them including Lex Luthor, since he's an upper-echelon villain in the DC universe. He isn't much a fighter either, but they'll probably have him in his power suit to give him an combat edge.

I believe Darkseid will be involved. If not playable, he'll probably be a boss fighter. He's pretty much DC's "big evil" much like Shao Kahn is to Mortal Kombat.

I don't know if Catwoman is really regarded as a villain anymore...but I wouldn't be surprised if she made it in. Doomsday would make good sub-boss material. I could also see Brainiac making it in. Maybe Sinestro, but his gameplay would probably end up too similar to Green Lantern.

I know it's a long shot...but I would like to see Circe in. She's one of the (very) few credible Wonder Woman villains and for the past few years, they've been trying to establish her as WW's #1 foe. I'd think she'd fit into MK, being a sorceress and having a mythological background.

That's all I can think of for now.
