Think about it. The franchise has become this big drama fest with the characters. It's almost like, "whos killing who?" "who has beef with who?" "did scorpion ever get his revenge?" "will mileena reconcile with her long lost sister?" its funny. But i think this is a major reason the franchise carries itself so well.
we get involved in the story line to the point where we actually DO care about all the little things. hahaha Liu Kang is back from the dead, just when everyone thought he was gone for good. Thats sucha Soap Opera move, hes back to piss you off and spur a relationship into turmoil...Kitana must be happy!
And i'm sure everyone is tuning in to see what will become of Kabal. Will het get the backstabber that "killed" him years ago?
And what will become of the black dragon organization? Is Kira the daughter of Kano from that drunken one night stand he had with Stryker and Sareena?
