I think it's been confirmed that there is a new Shokan In MK Deception. But Boon said that the new sub-boss would be something never before seen in Mortal Kombat so I doubt it'll be a Shokan.

If there is a new Shokan (there had better be!) it'll probably be alligned with the good guys since Goro and Kitana had an alliance. I hope they do a better job on it then they did with Sheva.

if its true u can play with a new shokan it better be kool and have kintaro's jumping attack from mk2. its fatality should be awesome.

MK:Deception needs something no MK game has had before; a mid-boss who doesn't beat you with power, but with speed. Think Jade or Smoke from MK2.

anything is better than what DA had. moloch was so easy 2 beat and he wasnt really that cool. neither were shang tsung or quan chi. i hope the dk is like shao kahn. i used 2 get nervous yet exited whenever i had 2 fight shao kahn in mk2. as 4 smoke i think gamespot confirmed him.

I don't mean have Smoke or Jade as the Sub-Boss.

I just mean have a character who is faster than any playable one, but doesn't do obscene damage like the Goros, Kintaros, Motaros, Molochs and Hotaro...er...nevermind. But yeah, faster not stronger.

Yeah, well sub-bosses like Goro and Kintaro aren't hard to beat. You can take out almost any of them using only jump kicks.

how about after defeating all the regular fighters u fight against a very fast boss and then against a very powerful 1 and then the dk.

there will never be a shokan as a sub-boss again.. they have joined the side of good....

See, in Deception it seems like the Dragon King is the big, powerful boss.

A "fast" sub-boss? Hell, Remember Kintaro?! Even on easy, He was all over your ass!! The only people i could beat him with were Scorpion and Sub-Zero because of their "Stunning" special moves.

i'd love to see a shokan as the sub-boss goro died in the last game but it'd be sweet if they were to bring kintaro back

they should have the dk put a spell on kintaro that controls him and makes him evil.

it would be good to have kintaro or goro back as a playable character with fightin styles not just brut strengh

no way, never a goro again, goro died and let him stay dead. Shokan's have been done. I would love to see a fully 3d Motaro or some sort.
