Did anibody tried not to give Quans amulet to Shinnok and then beat the game?

Whe u plase the last kamidogu in his plase DK cames but there is the empty space for the Quans amulet and i think if u have it and beat Konquest with it it can unlock another portal were Shujinko may escape i dont know...Did anibody did this?

ya and once you finish the game with the amulet, look in your inventory and it says it's the "Fake Quan Chi's Amulet". It's purpose is for Shinnok's quest and nothing else.
