As soon as I got out of the town in earthrealm, in the woods behind the road that leads to Bo Rai Cho's house. I saw this character I couldn't figure out who it was but when I tried to approach him, he dissapeared. Did any of you see this? Sorry if this was posted before.

I saw him/her also but dissapeared before I could see them. I meditated to see if they would appear again but no more sitings.

I think you are talking about Kintaro. He only appears for a few seconds after you open up the chest in the forest.

I didn't open anything except for the chest that unlocks Kenshi's alt. Then I saw the guy standing there. I also meditated to see if he would appear again but he didn't.
