didn't baraka die in mk gold??? how come they didnt say anything about resurrecting him??

endingz - wut if situationz - not all necessarily true. I mean, how many timez did you kill Baraka back in MK 2? Baraka iz back & if the gameplay iz great,then I'll rockz that TwiZtiD $#!T
story makez it all the more interezting, but you still have great gameplay, thatz wut matterz most to me.

to answer ya ? - yes Baraka died in MK Gold ending

Baraka hasn't been mentioned since MKG. His MKG ending couldn't have happened because in it Quan Chi said Raiden and the elder gods and everyone else was dead, and obviously they aren't. So since Baraka's ending didn't happen, the only thing that suggests his death is his absense from MKDA, which, as we should have learned, means nothing.

PARTS OF ENDINGS ARE CARRIED OVER..DOES'T HAVE TO BE THE FULL ENDING

baraka coulc have died and been brought back by the DK-it may explain his new decaying arm look.

ofcourse, this is all speculation and baraka isn't even fully confirmed. the render can be for an opening,testing of new software, we really dont know.

and to the 2nd poster, what the fuck are u talking about? lol, seriously dude, type english, not 8th grade ebonics

xcarnagex - I know the ending izn't true to the storyline the developerz keep, but rather that he was shown dying: Baraka'z Demise. Agreed - Baraka asked Mr. Chi, "How can we rule a realm with nothing in it?".

I've noticed from way back that you always seem to thrash everyone for anything. I can't really understand you. Do you act like that because of your "rank" or your insecurities? Were you the bully, way back in school trying to be "cool" , pushing other people down to feel better about yourself; or were you the one who was picked on and now you dis others while remaining annonymous & hiding on the other side of your computer. Yeah i think he might be brought back to life, its better then them saying nothing about them resurrecting. Midway always finds an excuse when they bring back a character. Just look at johnny cage didnt he die and was brought back to life by Raiden.

I don't think he's trying to pick on you, it's just hard to understand what the hell you're saying sometimes. It doesn't matter that you're not writing a book report, you're (supposedly) trying to express your opinion, and if you write so that people can't understand you, your opinion isn't coming across.

mk:news, did you read my or any other post saying that BARAKA'S MKGOLD ENDING COULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED?! An MK character isn't dead unless it specifically said so in the game, DISCLUDING ENDINGS. I am getting really fucking sick of people saying "so and so is dead, and isn't coming back" when no game ever specifically stated that they were dead.

So lui kang can come back, baraka can comeback, goro can come back, shang tsung can comeback. Anyone can. Doesn't matter if they were shown dying or not. Obviously the Elder Gods can resurrect anyone they want, and the evil outworld people can use the dark magic to make people reborn.

Okay, sorry, didn't realize you were joking.

But I disagree with you about people coming back from the dead for any reason they want. IMO they should have a damn good reason, and be very important characters, unless their deaths are surrounded in rumor (ie. Kabal). So Liu Kang and Shao Kahn, somewhere down the line, should come back. Sheeva, Motaro, Goro, etc. shouldn't because they aren't as important as Kang and Kahn. But Shang Tsung and Baraka were never said in the story to have died, so they can come back, no questions asked.

yes, baraka may be alive..chances are he is cause we have no reason to think otherwise...but they might just take the quan chi killing him thing and let reptile bring him back.

they are both very ugly and usually get used and abused by greater evils.

so they shall make quite the team. ofcourse..they can still work together if baraka was never killed. it can work either way

kahn and kang need to stay dead for ever.
