Well he certainly appeared to die, However, Myself and a lot of others seem to think it wasn't him, that he had a sit in take over for him when Quan And Shang were announced because he didn't trust them (who would?) So that's why I believe Kahn is not dead at all. Btw..that wasn't his head just his helmet.

I think the same. The fact that they showed Kangs death and not Khans makes you wonder if he did die at all.

Khan did die. But they changed his name to Hsu Hao before the game was released so people wouldn't think he was Shao Kahn, lol.

. In Deception, that you see Kahn rise, and unmasked. I have no clue if its true or not, thats just what I heard. If it is true, you will most likely see this in one of the FMV.

I think it was Kahn... it said in Kano's Konquest that there was a great display of power, and that Kahn almost won the fight, but was ultimately to weak to continue his assualt and the DA managed to gain the upper hand. Only Kahn can stand up to two of the most powerful free-roaming sorcerers at once and almost prevail... and he was severly weakened. Imagine full strength... I believe Kahn is going to return soon.

Well they didn't chop off his head, just knocked the mask off it. Judging by rumors they didn't kill him so much as knocked the tar out of him and left him for dead. If this is true he must have been lying there camatose for awhile since Reptile found him that way.

It looks like Midway made the details of his death in MKDA just vague enough that they could back-out of it, and that's what they chose to do.

Bro, there talking about before the attack on Kahn. Kahn was weakened from his loss in MK3-MKT and Kitana and Goro's forces putting strain on his power by defeating his remaining armies, in which Kano was general.

Bro, they are definitly talking about before the attack on Kahn. That little thing in the manual is just an introduction to what might happen... Do you think they would actually reveal that kind of important info in a little game manual rather than in the game itself?

They are saying it in terms like- "Who is Kano going to side with- the weakened Emperor, or the newly found DA (as they are the main antagonists in the game)? Find out when you play Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance..."

Then when you play you find out he stays in the shadow and watches Kahn's fall, and appears to the DA offering his services after the fight.
