Well cant really say yet, cuz when i first saw Shao Kahn i thought what a pansy in loin cloth and such, and then he owned me.
I hope he's harder the Shang and Quan in DA, i also hope there's a harder sub-Boss

Well hopefully he'll be alot harder than shao kahn was, not to mention kintaro. I want him to be so hard that it could even get frustrating. You dont understand how easily i beat DA on very hard. The DK needs to be powerful and crazy. I want to keep on fighting him non stop, just like i did to kintaro in MK2 until i won.

From Raiden's ending, he looks pretty fucking difficult. From the way he's designed, he probably won't be like shang or quan with fighting styles, but more like a freakin citadel with powermoves and insane blocking skills.
Not to mention, he'll probably be able to counter like a motherfucker.

For some reason, I always have more trouble with the sub boss and the initial boss(except for MK2).
I don't know if he'll be difficult, but he'll be big. That I can guarantee.

I kind of hope that the Dragon King makes the new mid-boss look like a weakling. I know that that's the style of MK (easier boss than mid-boss), but I want the Dragon King to show that he can kick even his most powerful henchman's ass.

i really hope not because that would make it more difficult to defeat it. but that would be cool

Me to. If the dragon king is half reptile, having the invisibility move would be pure bad ass. Just imagine a boss that would turn invisible (and is already tough when he isnt invisible).
I would also like the DK to shoot out a huge chunk of acid, which would stun us for a bit, leaving us open for another massive attack. I basically want to see the DK having powerful special moves which deal a load of damage, and physical ones as well. He also better have great defenses so our attacks dont do diddly squat to him. And like temperaryusername said, i want to see him block alot, making him even more intimidating.

If he blocks allot it kind of makes him look weak if he can't stand to take a hit from someone half his size

I like these ideas for the Dragon King! Especially an ability to become invisible--something we haven't even see since MK:Gold with Reptile. An invisible boss--that would be very challenging! Or better yet, what if the DK has the ability to create "darkness" so, for more challenging effect, causes the entire screen (except for the lifebars and time limit at the top of the screen, of course) to turn pitch black for a few seconds or flashing on and off?
I also think it would be cool if the Dragon King did something to the effect of what happened in the first Mortal Kombat movie towards the end where Liu Kang finally had his match with Shang Tsung, and sometime during his battle, Tsung summoned like 7 or 8 warriors from potholes scattered over the arena and all melee attacked Liu Kang, then Kang's battle with Shang Tsung 1-on-1 resumed again. The Dragon King could do something similar, where midway through the battle, he summons some unknown warriors and the match suddenly becomes a mini "Endurance Match" where you'd have to defeat like 3 or 4 of them successfully before the battle resumes!
Also, for more added effect, what if, after defeating the match, that the Dragon King resurrects himself and gets up for another match? And like depending upon what you do or DON'T do in Konquest mode or something, the Dragon King would self-resurrect himself like 2 or 3 time and keep challenging you to additional combats?

I think you mean "tough opponents are the worst"?
I have to disagree. Shao Kahn was a formiddable boss in MK3 and it should always be that way. There always needs to be some level of challenge for the player. Besides, if a warrior is going to be the "boss" of a Mortal Kombat, he should be one that stands out above all the rest and uses a variety of tactics that seem unfair or seem like "cheating" to gain his victories. If you go all the way back to MK1 when Shang Tsung was the boss, he sort of "cheated" in a way by being the only one who could transform into the other fighters, have multiple projectiles, and be immune to certain attacks in his true form.
The bosses of MK4, MKGold, and MK:Deadly Alliance have failed miserably with their bosses. The sub-bosses are good, but then the main boss should always be harder.
I also feel that you shouldn't always have to defeat the main boss just to see a character's ending (if no one hasn't already, please read my thread entitled "Character endings should be at the BEGINNING of the game" where I explain this in-depth).
Perhaps defeating the boss gives other rewards--something along the lines of the little treasure thing back in MK Trilogy where you had to select one of the kombat symbols in the different boxes to unlock a different prize. There's more to see than just endings.

it is said that ONE of dragons kings regular soldiers is about as strong as shao khan alone.
so if he summoned 4 of those like someone said on the forum, then we would be fighting 4 shao khans, then the match will resume to fighting the DK. damn that would be hard.
i want a mid boss harder then smoke in mk2, shoa khan in mk2, and kintoro put together.
and then the DK should be harder then that sub boss, which means harder the smoke kintoro, shao khan in mk2 and the MK:D sub boss put together.
i wish the game could FORCE you to change the difficulty settings to max before the match begins.
something like change setting now clik ok, or dont change setting and abandon arcade mode, clik ok.
you choose to chage settings and fight DK, or u choose to goback to the main menu and not fight him.
only on max u can fight him that would kick ass.
or no difficulty settings like in MK2.
DK should have powerful and piss you off type of fast special moves, and should have like a 30 hit combo, that would be cool, and always do his fatality when he wins.
i think when u beat him one round h will leave his armor and become something huge and unbalanced, like mid bosses form other games to tell u the truth. i think the mid boss will be able to be fatality in this game, mid boss might be baraka. but DK will be more of the mid boss this game meaning he will be the HUGE person of the game that u cant finish off.
