Yea that would suck seing how I have no headband and dont seem to have a way to get it.

I got the white lotus headband by talking to the old white lotus guy outside his hut after I trained with Nightwolf. I talked to him before and he said I wasnt pure enough.

thatd be so stupid if u cant get super unlockables/farther after end game if u didnt get something earlier, there better be a way to still get it somehow or get kung lao...
that sso much bs i didnt know about it until after i beat konquest, and now i have all coffins unlocked

someone should email boon or midway and find out if its possible to get to kung lao at the end of the game with no headband

From what I have heard you get it as a younger shujinko. I have unlocked all coffins and completed conquest as well. And those 2 guys are nowhere to be found. I'll be really pissed if all that time I put into Konquest has to be done again just so I can get this other stuff.
I'm still hoping that shu and wen (whatever their names are) are still in the game somewhere. Maybe they relocated and can be found somewhere else, but I have run around soooo much that I think I would have found them by now.
If you talk to people in the area where they are supposed to be located the people seem to be dropping hints. Such as, "you, I'm not supposed to talk to you". "There is a tribe nearby and it is said their leader can cleanse souls" "you must have a touch of evil to even enter the netherealm" "It is believed that Raiden established the white lotus society"....Stuff like that. So, hopefully, there is something that we can still do to get the headband.
I've already beaten raiden again in order realm, to see if he might give it to us by beating him a second time... didn't work. I'm gonna try the one that gave us his alt next... see if I can get it there. I don't think they would make it so close-ended that if you don't get one item you have to start over.
I remember hearing back in the day.... that it was open-ended and if you missed something you could go back as old Shujinko to discover things that you missed the first time thru.

Honestly, could we get someone to give us more solid info on this stuff. Such as what this headband is, where you're supposed to get it/take it, where shu and wen are supposed to be, and where jung lao is supposed to appear (grid locations). I understand people aren't writing all this info down as they play, so it's fine if you honestly don't know, but this obviously something people want to do, so help out with specifics if you can. Kung is my favorite and I wanna see what's up with him, but i definately don't wanna add to those annoying "WHerE iS KuN LOO???????" threads that seem to be dominating the forum right now.
Also, someone earlier mentioned that you fight with kung lao. Is that true? do you fight him like you fight Sonya and Cage and they don't do anything but take a beating.or is like Quan Chi and Shang Tsung and gives hope to us Kung fans that he's playable somehow?

You don't fight him (in the Arcade mode sense). Instead, he challenges you...you have to do a 10 hit combo on him to prove that you are a White Lotus Society member. That is all.
