i liked him. that fire ball move was pretty kool.

i donno didn't raiden give him his staff? maybe he's the future chosen one. i donno i never really liked him but if he had a better look and a better story line...i wouldn't mind seeing him return.

Anyhow, and a big YES to Kai coming back. Kai had concept art in Deadly Alliance, and he didn't really have a complete story. I can see Kai coming back in probably MK7.

I guess Kai was just there to help Liu Kang and the Earthrealm warriors in MK4 and then he went home and cried cause he realized he was such a loser.

Anyway, i wish you to have Kai to play in MK7.

I think I saw him in the prison stage in the video where Ashrah is knocking down Hotaru in the prison stage! I think you can see him when Hotaru is falling, but some people told me that it was somebody else... So I don't think he is in this game, except for Konquest.

I've always believed every character deserves a second chance. There are no exceptions to this belief, even characters I hate (like Shinnok).

However, I think MK7 is your best chance at seeing Kai in action again.

Of course, you could always make a petition and send it to Midway. Those are always so effective.

I think he should. I see a lot of potential for Kai. It doesn't help that he was in the worst game in the series, but hey, all I have to say is look at Tanya. If they could take Tanya and make her better, they can easily take Kai and make him better.

I hope he will, next to Fujin he was my next favourite, he had an amazon feel to him. He was supposed to be in MK DA but he wasn't included. Next to Fujin and Tanya he has the next best chance of being in MK7.

I'm guessing that those people whose fave characters are from MK4, like those that have said Kai, Tanya & Fujin - have only really started playing MK since MK4 was released?!?

Because compared to the MK games before MK4, those characters suck arse BIG TIME!!

Not really, I've played MK since I was VERY young with all my friends on Super Nintendo with MK and MK:II. I just think Kai has potential. In no way is he any of my favorites, but neither was Tanya, and now she's one of the one's I'm most psyched to play as.

Agreed dude ! I was five or six years old when the first MK came out, and I cannot give any old school character's place to a MK4 newbie.

Although I believe EVERY character is important to the MK story, and even though I love all the characters, I would never prefer a new one (Kai, Mavado, Fujin or Bo' Rai Cho (duh)) to an old one. (I am speaking of MK1 and MK2
(MK3 at the limit) characters.

The first Mk game came out when i was 4 and ive played all of them. Up until MK4 i got my @$$ handed to my by my older brothers and cousin, but when i satrted playing MK4 i choose Kai just to see if he was good or not, and i was really good with him and only lost a couple of battles with him. That's why i like him so much cus he was the first char i was good with.
