I hope they chose the best classic for each returner and have an entirely new one as well. They say they're going to be brutal,

I want 1 oldschool and 1 new. Who doesn't wanna see the return of the toasty and spine rip fatalities?

Yeah, Quan Chi’s fatality was a laugh. But the thing that bothered me the most was that there where no fatalities involving fire or acid or other kinds of stuff. I always liked Scorpion’s breath of fire and Sonya’s Kiss of Death (the only good Kiss of Death IMO). And with the engine of MKDA and MKD it would look really great. And Sub-Zero must at least use ice in one of his fatalities, his “spine rip” was great I agree. So I really hope that this time there will be more different kind of fatalities. I agree that every returning character should have his best classic fatality and one new.

A little bit of both would be great. Especially seeing the classic ones return in full 3D, they could even add a few more things to make it even more deadly. I cant wait to see the fresh new ones also, barakas sounds bad ass.

I'd like to see a nice mix of Old and New. Bring back some of the classics i reckon.

I would love to see some classic fatalities...not just because they're classic, but because they are trademarks. Case in point:

Sub-Zero's spine rip
Scorpion's Toasty

Both are necessary and are parts of the character as a whole.

its too bad each character cant have 3 total fatalites with their best classic and 2 new fatalities. THAT would be something.

I believe every fatality in MKD will be about 30 seconds, so I think if some classics will return they are gonna ad some stuff. But for those people who want all new ones, do you guys not worry if they will suck like a lot of MKDA fatalities did?

New fatalities, old fatalities, I dont mind either way. Well, so long as the new fatalities dont all concentrate on the head. That got really tiresome in DA. Dont get me wrong, yes throwing a spear into your head and ripping it off is effective, and jumping on your back and having it explode, and jumping on your skull, and throwing your hat into it, and ripping out your brain, etc, but I still cannot stand the whole Quan Chi thing. I've tried playing as him and killing people, but it didn't feel like I was killing someone. It felt more like I was doing a weird magic act or something. I mean come on, he was supposed to be this big bad evil sorcerer guy, and he turns you into the worlds tallest man/woman....just...no.

1/2 old and 1/2 new. So there be a new twist to a real good series. They would combinded the new and old fatality to make a brand new fatality.

i think that there's a chance of classic fatalities returning,for sub zero and scorpion,or baraka....but i hope for the new fatalities to be gruesome,and nothing dumb like quan chis "neck enlargement" friendship,yeah,for me that shit was more a friendship than a fatality....but i read in the gameinformer article,that characters will have two "tasty" fatalities each....let's see what's the meaning of "tasty" for the MK team....

I would like it either way. I wouldn't mine seeing Scorpion's "Toasty" Fatality or a new look of his "Hell Summon" where he transported you to the netherrealm. A good mix should be just enough. I think of all the characters so far I really have to believe that Baraka is gonna get some awesome ass new fatalities.

Fatalities that must come back:

Liu Kang's Dragon bite (MK2 style, not lame MK4 style)
Scorpion's Toasty (MK2 style, not lame MK 4 style.)
Sub-Zero's Spine Rip
Kung Lao's Hat Slice (God I want Kung Lao and this move back...The Hat Slice is possibly the best fatality of all time.)

Yeah Kung Lao’s “Hat Slice” was awesome. I bet it will look even better in 3D. His MKDA fatality was good too. Kenshi’s fatality sure was brutal but I was disappointed about that one, I like to see more physical contact with fatalities like impaling, burning and those kinds of stuff.

Either all new or one classic and one new Fatality is fine by me.

Kung Laos MK2 Hat Slice would be perfect in 3d! It'd look so amazing!

And Kenshis was just a Tanyas Twisted Kiss done with telekinesis.

I want Scorpion’s “Toasty” back too. Not only because it’s a good fatality but this would also be good for the differences of the fatalities. Like I said before, MKDA had none fatalities involving fire. So Scorpion’s “Toasty” would be nice to see for a change.
