I dont think Dan was crapping on Sonya. He was just saying that the Special forces stroyline are lameass and suck. its true and even Sonya fans have to admit it. Just because someone is ur favourtie character doesnt mean u have to liek their lameass story. Im a big Kitana fan and I hate the ressurection idea, and am still undecided as to whether its a good idea for Kitana or not. if its nto, I'll be the first to admit it. Come on though Sonya/Jax/Cyrax fans.....enough with the 'oh lets get Kano idea' is good. Its not.

Like someone said, everytime Kitana is mentioned, Sonya is mentioned to be flamed, by kitana fans.

i know the SF story sucks, I never said I loved the story, but so far, there are worst, and the resurrection ideas are the worst of all.

BTW, the SF stories dont involve Kano like you said, there have been many other things going on such as Hsu hao, mavado, kenshi, cyrax, red dragon, saving earth and fighting side by side with a black dragon.

Well I for one like Sonya too. I admit i dont like her as much Kitana, Sindel or Jade, but she can be a good fighter. It's her storylines which let her down. And Sonya's primarily revolves around Kano and his allies, and its getting old. And ok, so is Kitanas but this is giving her a new lease of life...literally lol.

And as for the Kitana/Sonya thing, it seems that whenever one is bashed some fans bash the other. I've often seen Kitana threads turn into Sonya-bashing threads and I've seen just as many Sonya threads turn into Kitana-bashing threads.

So far it seems most everyone likes Kitana being evil again, they just hate that she was killed/resurrected, which I agree with. That was stupid and should have been avoided. Sonya's story has been consistently lackluster and it needs to be changed. Can't we just leave it at that?

You know,not to get off topic here, but it kinda seems like Boon and co. want the SF stories to suck. I mean, in my opinion, they could have breathed new life into their stories with the arrival of the Red Dragon, perhaps even an alliance with the Lin Kuei, but instead it seems they decided to just forget the Red dragon exist and scrap the whole idea. Definately not cool.

Back on topic, I believe that Kitana has her soul and is under a spell. I would like to see Sindel's quest to free Kitana from the DKs spell span MKD and MK7, perhaps with the combined might of a returned Lui Kang (her love for him) and Sindel, they could break the spell. As much as I love Sindel, I also think it would be awesome if she died freeing her daughter, from a story perspective at least. Just my 2 cents tho...

Having good as Kitana's allignment doesnt mean she must fight for earth. Look at Li Mei in MK:DA. Her allignment was good, btu she fighting for the Deadly Aliance so was fighting on evil's side.

But I reckon Kitana will probably stay evil for a while and be turned by Sindel/Jade/Liu Kang.

I know, that alignment thing doesn’t mean much yet. Especially in a game called Deception But I do hope she will be evil this time. That could really spice thing up for her.

Kitana is probably was brain washed by the DK since he made her come back to life again. So she will probably be save by Sindel or Jade and be good again. However for now she might be Evil.

Great idea! Kitana killing her mother woitanauld be devastating for Kitana. Imagine if her spell ended after dealing the fatal blow. Maybe she'd kill herself too.

If she really is deceiving the Dragon King, then she is gambling quite a bit. She will most likely know of Mileena and Tanya and will try to get those two eliminated. And as for her own deception against the Dragon King, I'm wondering exactly what it is she could do.

I think she'll be saved in the end. I don't, however, think it'll be Liu Kang to do it. As stated above by someone else: I believe it is a task that will fall on Sindel's shoulders, and she will come through.

I agree with all you just said and it will be interesting to see how her story is carried out. I think we will all end up shocked someone along the line. Kitana could prove to be one of the more deadly and interesting characters now in the Deception.

I have to agree with you Queve. The ressurection was a step in the wrong direction. I'm sure the Dragon King could have corrupted Kitanas mind with her alive.

Even so, the story is still a good one and has allowed for a nice change in Kitanas story. I just hope the continuation doesn't involve any overused ideas.
