Soon to be another closed thread, not being mean but alot of people around here need to put thought into their post. Anymore this forum is being rediculous with trite threads. Most people around here look forward to news info, except me, casue then there is flooding with whatever new is discovered(ala liu kang, DK, fatality trailer) There should be a thread per every news info where everything is discussed in that area. I will take the step in doing this. This willhopefuly solve the flooding. Until next time,

I am of the opinion that we should have up to 10 new mods, so that when someone wants to start a new thread they have to confirm it with a mod first and there will always be one online.

Before I start, I'm not picking on you Fujin1. That being said. Having to clear through a mod is a good idea in theory, but no one is going to do that. Too much work invovled, you know?

I mean they write the thread, it gets put into a list and awaits confirmation from a mod. Then the mod either confirms it or sends it back with a reason why it wasn't confirmed. That way we wouldnt have people like BRENDAN with 6 annoying threads a day etc. I could easily name 10 people here who are worthy of being a mod.

I still think the best way against spam and flamming, is to have someone, that when the news breaks make an official thread, someone who has been around long enough, knows who is who, and has respect around here. I want to be that person, I may not be warrior, skilled warrior, champion or anything. I am a mortal. I know what needs to be done around here, and I have no enemy's on this board. I would love to designate myself to be an offical starter of new threads when news breaks, having a mod OK thins can solve alot of problems we are now facing, as the news is comming in alot quicker.

MK247 how would having an official news thread maker stop the million other people from posting?

What I'm saying is that when the news breaks, and about that particular subject there should be 1 thread, like "The Official .....Discussion Thread" That way when the neews breaks about a character like Kang for example instead of having a million of them it is solved with one big generic topic discussion where the whole deal is in one, rather sporadically in many. I think it will benifit us all.

Now I know what you mean MK247 but I must admit I don't like the idea. I fone person starts a flame/console/character war we can't close the topic!

It would be hard as we get closer to the release to talk about news with so much info being revealed. There would be 2 or 3 convos going at once.

And we pretty much would have no reason for ANY other threads in the room, seeing as its ALL news discussion!

I'm glad there is a place we can discuss this. I ronic that it's in just the kind of thread that we want to get rid of :D

I sent a message to ]ombat, with my thoughts, hopefully he will read this, and listen to what I have to say, I consider myself to be a vet around here, as i know many of these people by real names, and not by screen names. Even though i dont have a diferent icon to prove it, ask around, i've been here for a while.

Also Fujin1, it is easy to mix up my intentions with my idea. If a thread has a different, yet intellegent point then it should be created as a new topic to be discussed, im just talking as a general thread about it.
