Don't get me wrong, the tag team idea is good but....

It doesn't work well with Noob and Smoke. If Midway would've implemented this tag team idea in DA for the final boss, so that normally you would be able to pick Quan Chi and Shang Tsung separately but when you fight them at the end, they are a tag team pretty much like Noob/Smoke.

The problem I have with the idea being implemented on Noob/Smoke is that BOTH characters have NO established relations from before. That's like taking Sonya and pairing her with Khameleon, they have no links between them.

This idea is only good in a tag team MK game or if it is implemented on 2 NEW characters. Why not have 2 of the DK's army do the tag team thing? Why Noob and Smoke of all characters!!!

I still don't like the idea, even after seeing the footage numerous times. It looks cool but it doesn't sit right with me and I'm sure many other people.

I see what you mean, but i think there can only be 2 answeres to this crazy question:
1. As the story progresses we will learn of the reason behind this "alliance", but Boon wants to keep it secret for the time being
2. They are runniing so low on ideas that they turn two the quickest, easiest solution they could possibly think of: team 2 people up!! (i dont think this is the case as of yet, we just have to wait and see. patience is a virtue) smile

i doubt they are running low on ideas, i think this is for the best. For one, it allows them to give us the fans human smoke (kinda lol) back in action. i mean noob and smoke teamed up isnt that bad, you dont have to use both.

I really like the idea.. they both are sneaky supernatural ninjas... and I'm sure they have a good reasoon to work toghether,,,

I AGREE!!! This would have kicked ASS in DA!!!

and anyone notice how everyone has a couple/nemesis now?
Jade/Tanya is one of the most emphasised ones..
could this "fusion" await more chracters in MK7? I hope not... I really like it for Noob and Smoke cause it fits them nicely and it's original.. just don't overdo it!

i agree, i think that it a good idea but im not sure about noob and smoke, why not two new characters (or maybe even ninja and beast reptile tag team lol). i was realy looking forward to playing as noob too. all i can say is that i hope it has an extremly good story behind it all.

Sounds amazing to me, i'd just like to know why it was Smoke and Noob who was paired, I mean Noob is a bad guy and Smoke is a good guy, I guess Smoke switched alignments for whatever reason cause' I know Noob would never switch.

They are probably unlocked from the Ying/Yang level, an action has to be done whilst it's switching from it's good side, to it's bad side maybe.

I love the idea of a tag team and really hope it will be in MK7. But the MK team must never decide to make up the teams like this Noob Smoke thing. I think that the greatest thing about a tag team is the freedom of the player to create the teams.

But I am in favour of giving the more obvious teams something extra For example if you team up Sonya and Jax they may have some moves together or maybe a team fatality. But keep them separated on the select screen.

Now this Noob Smoke thing I can live with they where never my favourites. But I can imagine that there are some pist off fans out there.

At this point, it's hard to tell who's good and who's evil. If I had to guess, I'd say a lot of evil people are teaming up with the good guys so that they can take out Onaga. This could include Noob.

After watching the vids, I have to say I LOVE this idea. The team looks fantastic.

But on the other hand, I feel the pain of some Noob and Smoke fans.
