Dont get over worked, There ARE super unlockables!!

In an interview with MR. Boon himself, he said that characters could be unlocked in certain times at certain places in Komquest. This meaning they are super unlockables. He even said that you may have a character on your screen no one else has. And if you think about it they already know we know who the secret characters are, so why not hide more. In theroy only, i believe that we will unlock 1 of 12 characters for every person we beat the game with, then we will unlock 4-6 characters through fight in Konquest that only take pace certain dates and certain times.
Mr. Boon even said himself, "There is so much we have just jamp-packed in this game"
Why not have super unlockables? Why not?

That's a VERY good point! I know Boon aint gonna lie to the fans. I just hope that the super-unlockables aren't just swaps from Deadly Alliance with 1 fatality like I've been hearing... In any event, as long as Kitana is in I'm happy! It'll be great to have a good Kitana vs. Mileena fight again! grin But anyhoo, I just wonder who all the unlockables will be...

You prooved nothing! Boon has said lots of things he didnt do and he has said things that people took out of context.
(2 mini games + konquest + the actual game) x Online = JAM PACKED with or without super unlockables...seriously, its already jam packed.

Most of the unlockable characters have to be unlocked at certain times at certain places in Konquest.

I don't understand why people put so much stock into Ed Boon or anyone at Midway's comments like "jam packed" or "torrent". They are HYPING the game. You have to take stuff like that with a grain of salt.

This in particular should be a huge clue it's just hyperbole.

The only reason I still believe that there will be a couple of extra characters is because Boon Specifically said that the select screen will show 24 characters and expand as you unlock the secret ones.
There will be a couple at least...they might be BS Mokap or Blaze characters, but they will be there.

Usually when mk has secret characters like blaze or mokap, the select screen does NOT expand. Examples: Blaze, mokap, meat, noob(mk4)etc. The only other way they do it is have empty spaces there that fill in later (a lot of mk games including this one). So when he said that, Im pretty sure he was reffering to the normal 12 unlockables expanding on the original 12.

To unlock the hidden 12 fighters you have to find keys in the Konquest Mode. Boon said in a GamePro magazine that you would unlock superunlockables well after you finish Konquest Mode. There will be super-unlockables in the game. How many, that Iam not gonna answer cause I don't know but there will be non the less.

Its like this. You unlock some characters your first time through. Some, which are apart of the 12 hidden, cannot be unlocked the first time through. For these, which again Ill say are apart of the hidden 12, you must play through Konquest again to unlock. He called these "Super Unlockables." Thats what he meant, not that there are more characters. People are taking the poor guy's words and totally blowing them out of context.

Dude, I think we all hope you're right, but don't preach something that you aren't 100% sure on. Whether peeps took his words out of context, or the MK team is lazy and didn't put them in, or they just flat out lied, we just don't know. Let's just wait until this biznatch is out to play.

Thats exactly what I was thinking when I read his comment. Honestly, you really think YOU will be the only person who unlocks Reptile(for example)?

We probably won't know untill we've played the game ourselves. We now know of 24 characters, right? Well who said those 24 are the only ones? If mr.Boon don't wanna tell us about some characters untill a certain time (say, the games release) then he won't. And I think the 24 confimred untill now are great, so if there would be more that would even be better. Let's not pretend we know this stuff for sure when we just don't know.
