Dragon King concept

I was thinking of this concept for the dragon king, where anybody who would fight him couldnt do specials on him(like Mk1 goro) and he would take less damage then normal fighters. Or possibly you would have to beat him 3 rounds instead of two, which would help to create a much harder time to beat him. What to you think? -SSF

Being a 'proper' boss unlike the Deadly Alliance of MKDA, I'm sure he'll receive less damage. Special Moves only did 1% damage against Moloch and stunned him, so I think they might do a similar thing with the Dragon King.

If he is hard to beat, then they should make some Special Moves effective against him, but not all.

As tgrant said, he's a proper boss, so he'll hit hard and take less damage. It's like playing someone in versus with the handicaps jacked. I don't think that they'll be three rounds, although if MKDA is any indication, the option will be there. In my view the hardest part about beating the Dragon King (among the like, 20) will be his stage. It's small and he can probably kick you into the Death Trap if you're anywhere NEAR the edge.
And Goro wasn't immune to special moves, I froze him solid fairly regularily.

..or mabey goro was immune to sweeps..either way I know the DR will be hard to beat.

I know. I cant wait either. But i hope he doesnt look like the OGRE from Tekken 3. That would be a big dissapointment.

that would be sooo disapointing because even though the ogre was cool and all the DK is much much better. They better not downgrade him to that level of play but he could have a few similar moves (tail, fire breath) because he is a dragon and all.

I dont know, the DK will certainly be more difficult than the DA. However with 3d movement and being able to circle around him I dont think he will be that bad. I found MOloch easy as hell to beat, all you ahev to do is manuver around him and when you attack you attack carefully. I think the Dragon King will be the same way.
