I not only think it, but I also know it for a fact, that Reptile's body served as the host for the Dragon King.
Its the official story after all...

I forgot who's ending it was, but Jade and Sindel defeated the Dragon King and you saw the MK2 Reptile lying on the floor unconcioius.
