I gotta say, the background designers have really outdone themselves with the stages in this game. Bravo designers.

I love t, it reminds me of Mario 64, when you have to grab bowser and throw him into the bombs on the side.

Aside form the comedy, this si one of the best stages any Mk game has to offer.

Two questions:

1) What are those weird hand things on the arena floor?

2) How are the fighters supposed to get onto the fighting part?

i think those resemble the 6 realms

I read that destroying those hands will help you beat the Dragon King. I can't remember where I read it though, it was awhile ago.

Ya i read that also I think it was on this site on the news updates awhile ago it said something like the claws or whatever if destroyed will stun the dragon king temporarily but they are hard to get close to becaue of the danger ( I think there are death traps situated around them) also dragon king cant be frozen and cant be hit into death traps and other things like that if u browse though the news updates from awhile back in august you will probably find the exact article.

News Update Sept. 6
In his stage (exclusive to him only) there are about 8 giant dragon claws that stick out of the ground. Each one is of a different color and holds a different icon (like a yin yang, or a skull). If you walk into one, you will shatter it, and this hurts the Dragon King. It's as if the claws hold the secret to the Dragon King's power. This doesn't actually take any damage off his life meter, but it leaves him stunned for a few seconds. This is the most opportune time to attack him - but be careful, because some attacks (like high fireballs) might miss him, and then your opportunity is lost. Better to wait a few seconds before using some moves, to make sure you that you time it so that it hits him. You don't have to ruin any of the claws in order to win, but it does make it easier. But be careful - each of these claws is set precariously close to a death trap and you will lose the round instantly if hit into of them. (Of course, with the Dragon King's size, he cannot be knocked into these traps himself). There doesn't appear to be any sort of reward for destroying all the Claws in the stage, although perhaps there may be, if they were destroyed in the proper order?
